Hii, guys. Well, this is my first art about Metro 2033:)

I randomly decided to play the game and re-read the first book of the trilogy. And this is an illustration for the first chapter!!

Well, I decided to conduct a few experiments and... here's the result! I've been wanting to improve my arts for a long time, and I've finally found the right mindset.

So! The canvas is larger than my previous works. A new brush for sketching and line art. And the anatomy! It's not the best, but I think it's better than my earlier arts. I still have a lot of work to do to become a good artist :)

Ghoap, but there's a problem... They're on different sides. Enemies.

Simon "Ghost" Riley (England, 29 y.o) - ex-soldier. In one of the battles he was hard injured and didn't have other options but to leave. After Simon lost family (10 y.o), he was placed under the care of one of his father's friends, who was an assistant to the King.

John MacTavish (Scotland, 23 y.o) - soldier, the oldest son of a rich artisan. People respect MacTavish's family, because John's father has done a lot for them and he is always ready to help.

1640s. The English Revolution is coming soon.

I'm going to make a comic about this AU, so yeah.. I hope, I will not lose motivation :)

Headcanons of our little sergeants

Roach is interested in astronomy. He loves to look at the stars in the sky, find constellations, and give them accurate names, surprising his friends. Gary also uses his knowledge to give nicknames. Gaz is older than Roach, so Gary named him "Ryugu" (an asteroid that contains the oldest gas known, which may be older than the Solar System).

Soap hates silence. It makes him think too much about things he'd rather forget. John fills out all his paperwork with the recruits, Gaz and Roach, Simon, or Price. If he's not with his friends, he always has two cases of headphones in his pocket, so if one runs out of power, he's ready with the other. Because of this, he can't spend much time with Riley, as the lieutenant enjoys silence.

Gaz is the eldest child. He's used to taking responsibility and caring for his younger siblings. If Roach feels unwell, Kyle will bring him medicine. If Soap gets injured, he will treat him. Perhaps this is why he finds it challenging to engage in "childish" activities. Price has granted him freedom by assuming his responsibilities.
