Eden wrapped her arms around her mother, sighing softly as the tension she held eased a little. “We’re fine. Promise. Al’s talking to Winry right now, but he’ll be in soon.” she assures. “I’m glad you’re doing well…” she adds.
“Maybe soon the Colonel will give me a solid lead… once I fix Alphonse he can stay here with you and help with things around here.” Eden sighs, not wanting to move away from the hug.
She let out a light breath of relief; even though they were both at least partially metal at this point, she was still worried constantly about her two children. “ Now, you and I both know your brother wouldn’t let you leave him behind, even to help me. And I wouldn’t let him even if he would; I’m fine, Eden, really. ”
While the angle had been slightly awkward, Trisha still refused to let Eden go. It was always better when her kids were home. “ What happened that you need to fix Alphonse? ”
