Turns out when these local governments do it it ends up being cheaper for everyone, and they often offer cell service too (The Massachusetts town had cell service for 10$ and internet for 25-45 depending on speed. Most residents had a 40% drop in cost)

I really want like, a hero AU with the Villain Alliance where Nana never gave up her son and Shigaraki got to grow up and have a normal life as Shimura Tenko and spend his time with his grandma and his weird uncle Torino and his grandma’s successor. And All Might becomes this big inspiration to Tenko and he helps him train to get into UA and while he’s there he befriends his classmates, who are the other Alliance members. Like Dabi and Toga and Spinner all intern at Stains hero agency and they’re actually really good heroes but they’re still themselves so most days end with Toga causing some kind of mischief or Dabi and Spinner in a fist fight. Stain loves them but he’s very tired. Twice gets help with the side effects of his quirk and ends up training to be a rescue type specialist hero because all the clones he can make can help control a situation better when not many pro heroes are around to help. Mr Compress works with Twice on rescues clearing large debris with his compression orbs and is always one of the first people that gets called to help with large scale damage. Magne probably ends up becoming a Pussycat and is best friends with Tiger and the girls. And Tenko ends up being like a second mentor to Izuku. I imagine all of them would probably either be third year or already graduated when Izuku first comes to UA. Tenko would probably be similar to Aizawa in the way that he hates dealing with the media. Not because they irritate him but because he’s actually kind of awkward and all around bad at talking to people. But all in all he’d grow up to be a great hero because he had All Might and his grandma on his side. I dunno I just really like reverse AUs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
