Scratch Incident

This was originally going to be like a 3 page comic with like 4 panels each. Yeah that didn't happen.

Also if you don't understand what's going on that's ok, I tried to explain in the comic, but I'll explain anyway.

Basically Luna and Dawn are walking to town because they're guardians, but still have to check on their people too. Dawn doesn't like it, but Luna makes her do it anyway. Because they get there Luna senses something's off just in time to block a very negative being disguised as a wolf villager from attacking Dawn [it's not actually a wolf, it was a dog villager because it transformed it].

Luna sensing the danger it could bring to Dawn tells her to go back to the tree, Dawn thinks that's stupid because she's not defenseless. Luna still tells her to stay back because the entity's energy might make her weaker so she fights the entity first.

After fighting, the entity soon realizes it's not powerful enough to fight Luna and it wouldn't be in a position to fight Dawn either, so makes a last resort measure. Using all the negative power it has, plunges them both into darkness. Dawn can't see a thing in this darkness while the entity can [There's not much she could've done even if she could see, she can't summon magic in that amount of negativity unless there was an equal amount of positivity].

The entity cuts her, leaving right afterwards which causes the darkness go away. Luna then finds her but it's too late.

Also the inspiration came from this sketch I was going to post, but then I thought: "What if Dawn got the scratch before Luna turned into Dusk?" And then this happened [also that is how Dawn's armor looks like].

I wasn't too sure where to go from the idea so built some scenarios in my head [that I couldn't sleep], scenario 1 was pretty much page 1. Scenario 2 was pretty much they're defending the tree and Dawn got a little reckless [which is basically what happened in the sketch].

but yeah, it took me like a week to finish but it was fun.

❤️Happy 10 Year Anniversary to Undertale!!! ❤️

122 hours and 65 characters later...I FINALLY FINISHED MY ANNIVERSARY DRAWING WOOOO

I missed making something for the 5th anniversary, so for the 10th I wanted to go BIG. I spent over a month working on this thing and I'm super happy with how it came out ToT

Alright, now time for a gushy lil speech. *eh hem*

This piece was inspired by not only Undertale, but all the creativity that the game inspired. Undertale is more than just a game at this point. It's a phenomenon. Something that many people, much like myself, can say has had a MASSIVE impact on their lives.

I wouldn't be the artist, or daresay the person I'd be today if not for this little game. Undertale is what sparked my passion for drawing AND writing (but mostly drawing lol). The community and the amazing creators within the community are what drove me to keep pushing forward, and I wouldn't be where I am today if not for them.

So! I wanted to make a drawing to commemorate this. 65 characters drawn. 39 AUs based off comics, games, stories, and art. I wanted to give thanks to all the fantastic creators out there who make incredible things, and especially thanks to Undertale for inspiring all of us.
