Komaeda took one of his many, many grilled carrots and stuffed it in the other’s mouth, without much concern or hesitation at all. 

“I was hoping my appearance in the dead of night might have... stunted any chances of being noticed. Now I have to bribe people with the promise of good eyesight.”

“Aah! If it isn’t my wonderful classmate!

Like I said though, I didn’t steal anything! I traded them while I was away. I’ve been doing a lot of trading, actually. Such a... hopeful meaning of exchange. It’s like I take a little piece of everyone with me as I go! Like a keepsake, or virus!”

“That’s because I haven’t been home in quite some time, I’m bound to have a bit of a musk to me at the moment. I’m aiming to fix that though! I’m still preparing after all, I wouldn’t want to ruin anything.
