The moment of the story related to the artwork “Yours is a Violent Love is it Not?” The next evening during the ball masque Eli would stand alone on the Rose’s Balcony, taking brilliant roses from their potted bush and snapping the blossoms from their stems. As one rose head falls over the banister it’s caught by a gloved hand. The hand belonging to a full masked stranger who leaps over the banister before sitting on its edge. The sudden arrival of the masked stranger shocks Eli causing him to stumble back as he sees the stranger’s hood fall to reveal bright red glowing hair under the moonlight. “I see….
