Truly people who were bored last episode I don't get you. Cammie's story of her husband choking and her calling 911 and getting voicemail wasn't just a tragic character beat it also highlights the reality of many 911 call centres: they are understaffed, overworked and underfunded and that puts all of us at risk.

Yeah I mean I get that the explanation for his death was a little underwhelming but like... it really does happen. And as an actual firefighter/paramedic, I know how critically understaffed dispatch centers are and how that can impact us on the daily, especially when they start getting desperate and dont always make good hiring choices. I get that many people only watch for the firefighters, but the reality is that dispatch is an integral part of the system and we would suffer without them. Their story and their struggles deserve to be heard, too.

Sorry it took me a second to get to this one! I had a crazy day at work.

Ryan and Blue getting trapped is PEAK angst material. Adding on Blue's diabetes is icing on the cake. By a sheer stroke of luck Blue's radio didn't get cut like Ryan's did so they can still communicate that way but it's not always the most clear. They keep the line open because it's easier that way, and everyone can hear how afraid Ryan sounds when he calls out for Blue to stay present. (Ryan's probably sporting his own concussion but he's refusing to admit it until they know Blue is going to make it).

Blue tried to pretend like he was fine (aside from being stuck under rubble with his big brother) even though he's been fighting his glucose all shift and now this happens. The last thing he needs is to be treated with kid gloves, but some part of him recognizes it's nice to be worried about.

It's nice hearing Ryan's voice call out to keep him awake, worried and afraid for him. Blue does his best to stay awake for Ryan until the girls are able to send in the insulin or, even better, Ryan admits he's kept an emergency dose on him since he found out Blue was diabetic, but he can't move without risking the rest of the rubble collapsing around them.

I'm currently at work and don't have time for much, but I just wanted to say a few things regarding the obsession some people have over the band's identities.

I have heard that someone gained access to their birth certificates, as well as photos of the boys, their families, and their partners. I've heard conflicting reports of there being intimate photos as well, and that they were trying to hire a stalker. I don't know how accurate this is, but due to recent events (iii's ig), I wouldn't be surprised if there was some level of truth to it.

I don't want to add more gas to the fire, but I was pissed when I read about this and felt like I needed to say something.

They don't owe us a damn thing. Grow the fuck up.
