Juniper fidgeted as she stood in front of Apollo's door, clutching the box of homemade chocolates in her hands as she waited for the lawyer to answer the door. And as soon as he did, she flushed a bright red, shoving the box at him, almost yelling a "Happy V-Valentine's day", and scuttling off to leave.
"Juniper wai--!! ....Oh... she left ah..."
He scratched his head, figuring he would go after her in a bit. She was always really embarrassed around him too. He smiled a little opening the box. So this was what Juniper and Athena had been working on! He felt his face heat up. Soon, he decided, he'd bring her her gift too.

She smiled warmly at the wave, brushing the little bits of snow that got on her hand from helping brush him off. The embarrassed blush from earlier never seemed to leave her face, even if the initial embarrassment had left.
"H-hello Apollo. Thena said you were here but…I-I hadn’t had the chance to run into you yet—n-not that I…m-meant for that to be…literal…"
"Oh…! Uhm, I’ve been here…a few weeks…I arrived during the storm, actually. It…it was quite a way to be greeted…!"
Fidgeting with her dress a bit, she took a deep breathe to calm down the heat to her face. She could do this, she could be strong. She knew she could, but, well… When you knock you crush over into a bank of snow, it’s kinda awkward.
"How about you? How long have you…been here…"
"Oh! You found Athena? Good, I'm glad you haven't been by yourself. She was one of the first people I found when I got here too and it made things a little better you know? Familiar faces."
"That storm was nothing short of awful. I'm glad you're alright though Juniper. I heard a lot of bad things happened to people during the storm, but you're safe, that's good."
He watched her fidgeting about, same Juniper as always. She'd always been so quiet and sweet, a thankful contrast to some of the people in the city. That and she was his friend, he was always glad to find a friend.
"I'm been here about.... three months I think...?"

"I——uuu….uu…….." Words. Words are a thing you need to say Juniper.
"I-I’m f-f-fine…I——I’d l-l-l-l-love…t-t-to b-b-b-be y-y-your…V-v-v-val….V-v-val…"
"Oh uh...G-Great! Fine! Thank you Juniper!" Apollo why are you thanking her.
"Juniper! Juniper! That’s wonderful!” Master fangirl Athena Cykes, reporting for duty. Or not.
"Wait, no! What do you mean you don’t know?"
"I mean I don't know why you're so worked up about it."
C'mon Apollo lighten up. Your face is as red as your suit and you're not fooling anyone, you're excited as hell too.
"A-ah—! I…I…uuuu….." Congrats you broke the Juniper do not pass go do not collect 200 dollars.
"Are you okay?!"
"It’s called curiosity, Apollo. Sooo—? Who is it?"
"It might be Juniper I don't know."
sunflowerdefendant:
"…!"
"I…can’t u-understand…what you said…"
"Oh uh... Well I was just saying that..."
"Uh..."
"Do... you wanna be my.... Valentine?"
deep breath "DoyouhaveaValentineyet"
"A-ah! Juniper, hello."
He smiled a little, piecing her words together and looking just a tad nervous.
"JuniperIthoughtyouweremyValentine."
"Come on, don’t make me cross-examine you! Out with it. I want names!"
"Someone sure is aggressive today."
defendingpsychologist:
“WHO?”
"It's someone, alright? It's someone."

"Oh uh, yeah, actually, I do."
Put "ᴅᴏ yᴏᴜ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ᴀ ᴠᴀʟᴇɴᴛɪɴᴇ yᴇᴛ?" in my ask to see how my muse reacts.

"I-I’m so, so… A-Apollo…?"
Juniper had to cut short her apologies as she stared, blinking at the man decked in red in front of her, partially sunk into the snow due to her clumsiness. Of course, with the realization of who she bumped into and knocked over sinking in, her face beamed a bright red as she fretted and apologized even more.
"O-o-oh my g-gosh Apollo! I-I’m so, so sorry! I-I didn’t m-mean to knock you over l-like that! I-I…"
Stammering out more apologies, she rushed over and helped him out of the snowbank, patting the snow off of his back. Out of all the people to accidentally knock over… It just had to be Apollo, didn’t it? Yes he made her pretty confident, but at the same time…
"A-are you okay? I hope I d-din’t hurt you…"
"Yeah, hi Juniper!"
He waved a little, blinking a little over the coincidence of meeting her here of all places. He was already worried for her. Juniper was like a small flower that needed to be tended to with kindness, and this place, while it had kind people, was over all not the sort of place for a flower to thrive.
He started getting up, feeling Juniper help him and offering her thanks as he was made upright and had the snow patted off of him. Reaching up, he fixed his hair in a shop window next to them before turning to Juniper.
"Never mind that, I've been knocked over before, it's no problem really. How long have you been here? How have I not seen you here before?"

Juniper had decided staying inside during the snow was her best option, searching was going to be fruitless, even with Athena at her side. But now, power was back, and so was the warmth to her body. Smiling, she straightened out her outfit a bit and exited the apartment that she’d holed herself up in for weeks.
Exiting her apartment in sector oo4, she walked down the streets, observing everything as she passed. The storm had covered everything, and she didn’t actually know what was in the sector she lived in. It was better than she thought, there seemed to be a whole slew of different cultures residing in shops. Maybe she’d find some things from where she came from.
With that in mind, she began to examine each of the shops, not necessarily paying attention to where she was going, or who was in front of her. This lead to her bumping right into someone as she was staring at a store display of fabrics with many patterns and giving a small yelp.
"O-oh…! I-I’m so sorry…I w-wasn’t paying much attention…" What an awkward start to finally seeing this city.
Snow and Apollo Justice weren't exactly the best of friends. Growing up in a place where snow hardly ever fell made it difficult to become accustomed to the sparkly white bits of frost in the air. That said, at least the outside weather was now cold instead of cold and snowy, or at least, the snow wasn't falling and adding to the piles already outside, so he could finally venture outside his apartment for much needed necessities. His pantry was starting to run a bit bare lately.
Absently walking around, huddled in his winter coat, he figured a trip to sector four would be for the best. It was the cultural sector after all, and he thought it might be nice to get some sort of shopping done there, for a new change of pace.
Walking to avoid some of the others just barely sane enough to not wait for all the snow to melt, he ducked and dodged people walking around banks of snow inconveniently formed on the sidewalks to keep the roadways clear. Arriving back on the sidewalk after going around an unusually large bank of snow, he felt someone run into him. He stumbled back a little, tripping into the snow bank and sinking in a little, hair antenna drooping into his face.
"H-hey!" he started, about to mumble some comments about apologizing, when he saw the perpetrator.
"Juniper? Is that really you?"
"Dammit.... it's that day... I wasn't expecting it so soon again and..."
