! TW // CW ; this post goes into possible paranoia-inducing topics and may say some paranoia-inducing sentences. Also remember this is my version of him, I have both a personal fanon and a canon(what this post will be writing about) version of Smile Dog. What I imagine, may not align up with yours.

Smile Dog is over the ages of mortal knowledge, and I will refer to it as he/it/thing.

So recap, Smile (Dog) is a demonic entity that takes the form of a dog. There is a haunted photo that gets sent to people and they have three days to share it with at least one other person before the hunting starts to get more intense.

During the first three days, it'll pop up in your dreams or in real life. I personally believe he shows up as a completely normal seeming dog in both dream and reality, but there's always this eerie feeling in the back of your mind that something is off about it.

The first day is simple, you'll notice him pop in several areas you commonly visit. You'll think 'Oh, it's just a coincident. Could just be dogs that look similar to each other', but it's not.

Second day after twelve hits to signal it's afternoon, he'll start appearing more. With the eerie and paranoia rapidly induces, you'll find yourself triple-checking your surroundings, and when you do notice the thing you'll stare at it longer. The longer you stare the more his appearance will distort, the smile, the eyelids, the teeth. It'll rapidly distort to its true form, not the carefully formed husky that was made to blend in with others.

The third day is when you're fucked, the thing will be everywhere but your personal property but very close to it. He will be watching everything you do, memorizing your routine, and how often you switch it up, he will know everything. You will be paranoid, no matter what. No matter if you've never felt paranoid before.

The fourth day is when the attacks start happening, it'll show up on your property and stay where you can see him. His smile will be visible, and you'll be able to tell something is wrong with it. He'll scratch, bite, and do anything to get into your house. You better have a plan or anything if you even attempt to leave the house. This is will it'll start attacking. He won't leave the property at all, always looking for a way to get in.

By day seven, he's found his way in. You're fucked, you're a goner, and you're dead.

But remember, at any chance you share the photo with someone else before you're dead, it'll be gone as if nothing ever happened.

The message sent to you will magically disappear, the only thing that would be left is any damage to the surroundings or to you. No one will believe you, even if you had camera proof. That'll be gone as well.
