It's 2020. The Dev is partnering with a porn game. Openly. He doesn't care about minors and he doesn't care about the game being done. I warned you, summer child.
(Minor disclaimer, I’ve had this in my ask box for almost two weeks, so this person did not send this with the current situation in mind. I don’t think they’d care though because they’re exactly the kind of person that would encourage that kind of thing. On to Shitshow 2: Electric Boogaloo!)
Due to you being so insignificant the last time you crawled into my inbox imitating one of those prophets-of-doom you usually find on street corners waving their “The End is Near!” signs and shrieking at passerby who just want to go about their day, it took me too long to remember who you actually were.
Partnering with a porn game isn’t detrimental for the game; in fact, its super beneficial. What it does is get your game out there for more people to see (or at least the characters, which will make people go looking for the source) its a form of advertisement because I know you don’t know that advertisements are extremely expensive, which is why you never see any indie games being advertised.
They rely solely on word of mouth usually, sharing links with people-even then, a REALLY AWESOME game often goes un-noticed because it never got the attention it deserved, and it WOULD have been a great hit. Even company-made games that don’t do advertisement never get enough attention.
For example, let’s talk about Untitled Goose Game. Personally, I don’t like it, but it was EVERYWHERE because people were talking about it and sharing it, and it reached Meme Status. It got to the point where I decided to check it out for real to see if it was any good, and to my own personal opinion, it wasn’t, but a lot of people loved it.
However, its very unlikely that you actually heard of, let alone seen, What Remains of Edith Finch, or Night In The Woods (at least until last year when the developer, Alec Holowka was falsely accused of being abusive among sexual assault, then it turns out Zoe Quinn lied her ass off just to remain relevant, which resulted in Alec’s suicide regardless because his mental health wasn’t in a good state to begin with, and turns out, Zoe was abusing HIM, and now she dropped out of the public eye and will never face punishment for the death she caused, and not to mention Alec’s own friends knew of the abuse and told him to shut up about it as to not give the MRAs/antifeminists “ammo”. Wherever the lot of them are, I hope they suffer horribly for the rest of their lives in the worst ways imaginable.)
Can you tell me anything about Unravel? Or Darq? Detention? White Day, a Labryinth Named School? Devotion? There’s nothing you can say unless you’ve stumbled upon them, or if your favorite Youtuber was informed about this game from someone else/the dev of the game, since those games didn’t have enough advertisement to reach mainstream media.
(Also, if a game developer sends a Youtube player early access, that means the developer thinks the youtuber is big enough so that means more people see the game and might want to play.)
Another famous indie game (That took JUST as long as Yansim to make despite being a 2D game with linear gameplay, might I add!) is Cuphead. Again, thrived on famous youtubers playing it and word of mouth.
The thing I’m getting at here is, Yanderedev allowing characters to be in this porn game is beneficial, of COURSE you’d actually be against it because it means that its not fading into obscurity like you want it to.

Porn game developers will take practically anything, if they’re not the ones to ask first, that is.(Before the Great Tumblr Porn Purge, I’ve seen SO MUCH about certain NSFW games because porn really does spread like wildfire when left unchecked, to where I’ve seen many different NSFW projects that I had no idea previously existed, all without actually having to look for it.)
Secondly, people DO have the right to say no if you ask them to promote your game in any way. People have preferred tastes when it comes to gaming (hence why I’ll never play Undertale or Minecraft, because it just doesn’t look that interesting to me.) and then you get the fact YandereDev’s reputation took a critical hit with false allegations and exaggerative bullcrap being spread around, so there’s people who refuse to be associated with him in any way, shape or form.
Also could be that Yanderedev and this NSFW developer hit it off great without any special circumstances being involved. Either ways, nobody needs to know how or why it happened as long as nothing illegal got involved.
Also, before you complain about Yandere Dev partnering with this porn game, he already partnered with Crush Crush a while ago, and yet, there were very little complaints about it that dropped almost completely after the first couple of weeks of it being announced.
I wonder why Gremlins suddenly don’t bring that up, especially since they LOVE bringing up irrelevant things that happen years ag-
OH. Right. There’s a male version called Blush Blush, so now most are quiet as mice on it, because while hypocrisy is prevalent with Gremlins, even they cannot ignore certain forms of hypocrisy.
Also, the reason for you not mentioning or bringing up Crush Crush could be that you didn’t actually research anything about the game other than what you found on seriously outdated, inactive blogs, which leads me to the next part of your anon:

You really need to stop looking at Gremlin blogs that haven’t been updated for almost two years. There’s a reason why you look at everything instead of taking a few biased sources and running with that. It makes you look like a bigger idiot than you already made yourself out to be, and I hate to say this, but I feel almost sympathetic that you have nothing else going on in your life to where you feel that the only thing you can do is act like a little bitch instead of just moving on and finding something you actually enjoy.

If Yandere Dev didn’t care about minors, he wouldn’t have said the game isn’t for kids, and putting WARNINGS at the start of the game about violent content.
This is an un-avoidable message every time you start the game up, so if people skip over that, then that’s on them.
At this point its entirely on you. Yeah, warnings don’t stop kids from playing it, but there’s no way to verify someone is actually an adult without invading some serious privacy or asking for money (which, kids can steal, or their parents wouldn’t care, so that would make it useless and make it frustrating for the rest of us.)
The internet is not your babysitter. Either put on parental controls or keep a careful eye on your kid. It’s because of parents refusing to do the bare minimum that Youtube went to complete shit, even though they already have Youtube Kids.
Come to think of it, if you’re not willing to do your part and still send anon hate, that means you don’t care about minors at all! You’re setting a bad example for the children, you know.
