SADLY, MY BABY QAIS'S HEART STOPPED TONIGHT, AND HIS LITTLE BODY BECAME COMPLETELY STILL.
There were no ambulances to save him, so I carried him on a wooden board toward the hospital, screaming through every street and begging my neighbors to help me carry my child before it was too late.
The doctors managed to bring baby Qais back, but they rushed him into intensive care and connected him to machines. They told me his wound had deepened by another three centimeters, and they could do little more until I found a way to secure the treatment he urgently needs.
I am begging you as a persecuted mother in Gaza, watching my baby bleed in front of me, unable to stop it. Please donate now and help me save his life before it’s too late.
Please donate now Gofundme
I have no words left to describe this nightmare. I am begging you with all the strength I have left—please help me buy the treatment and medicine Qais urgently needs. Every donation could help keep hope alive for my little boy.
Unfortunately, Qais has run out of medicine, and I cannot afford more. To everyone who helped before, I beg you again today, donate now. Your kindness kept him alive, and he still desperately needs support.
I will never forget those who donated, shared Qais’s story, and tried saving my child, but unfortunately I still cannot afford enough medicine or clean bandages. Please, donate now before his condition becomes even worse.
Every night, I promise myself I will stop begging and somehow find another way. Then morning comes, Qais still needs medicine, and I return with the same broken heart, asking for help again, please donate now.
My local animal shelter (BARCS) just got an influx of 369 birds from a shitass pet store, which is a truly terrifying number of parrots to have inside a building. BUT: there's a donation drive going on right now where you can vote for a pet's face to go on a beer can for their annual BARCStoberfest. Every single vote is a dollar towards animal rescue!!!
You can vote for your favorites such as Tylenol, El Eiwi Gordito, and Cheese here on their website!
HOUSING CRISIS for my trans lesbian cali friends in 100+ °F / 38+ °C weather
We're Silver and Illya, a transgender lesbian couple living in CA. We're going t… Silver Brown needs your support for Help Silver and Illy
Go to paypal.me/girlblxgs and type in the amount. Since it’s PayPal, it's easy and secure. Don’t have a PayPal account? No worries.
hi!! my friend illya of 6+ years and her girlfriend silver are being kicked out by illya's abusive parents, and they have until the END OF AUGUST to secure housing. they are both gay, transgender and disabled + silver is both black and indigenous w/ the ever rising tide of white supremacy + fascism, it's very important these two not be in an even more vulnerable state, on top of dangerous weather.
please, donate if you are able to! silver's paypl is also above. even if you are unable to spare $5 on GFM, even $1 helps if you send to silver!
if you show me proof via receipt or screenshot of you're donation, i'd also be happy to draw or write you something! ex. under readmore
happy to vouch for this btw, op is an irl of mine!

For movie night we watched The Lychee Road (orig. 长安的荔枝) (2025), directed by Da Peng.
The movie was falsely advertised to me as a lighthearted comedy about a hapless government official trying to fulfill an impossible imperial decree (somehow transport fresh lychees from Lingnan to Chang'an in time for a consort's birthday). It started with us giggling and ended with my partner and one of my friends sobbing, and me getting really angry about the United States.
All the manpower. The resources. The money. The deaths. The injuries. The damage to nature. The enslavement of entire populations and for what? To get CHEAP FRUIT on our table? CHEAP FRUIT WE WON'T EVEN NECESSARILY EAT?? I'm like getting so angry and pacing in the living room, like we are so disgusting. We are a vile nation. Just a massive machine of pain and blood and anguish all in the service of shitting out treats
I got so mad I forgot to comment on the movie itself. Liked it sure here's an apt review

this post and all its wonderful additions (look in the notes) is circulating again. these photos and many of the ones added in the notes come from the US Southwest.
right now the trump administration is attacking the public lands in the Southwestern US. most recently (July 2026), in Utah the Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante national monuments have been cut by over 90% to allow for mining. these lands are sacred to multiple Native nations in the area and contain irreplaceable archeological sites. additionally, the commission of Native representatives who aided in management of these lands has been dissolved leaving Native people without a voice in caring for the remaining land. (read more here)
here in New Mexico, the 10 mile buffer zone surrounding Chaco Canyon preventing oil and gas drilling is under attack. Chaco Canyon contains incredibly old and incredibly fragile archeological sites sacred to Pueblo people. these sites are threatened by mining and drilling. (read more here)
The attack on the Chaco buffer zone is currently in a public comment period open until July 29. PLEASE leave a public comment to save these irreplaceable places.

are people talking about the labor conditions at Taylor Farms yet? like the fact they use enslaved prisoners in their facilities?
are we drawing the connection between worker safety and consumer safety & public health yet?
are people demanding to see the conditions in this place that keeps making us sick? why are the enslaved workers not having the time to use the bathroom or to rest when ill? very few people would shit in front of their coworkers given any choice at all.
On the prisoners point:
In a sweeping two-year investigation, The Associated Press found goods linked to prisoners wind up in the supply chains of everything from F
More on the health point:

here is every mention of the companies/products mentioned in the mpr article
Name the chains! At this point in the article it seems like contracting with prisons is the default for meat plants ☹
was it Hillary Clinton who lived in a mansion staffed by prison slaves? somebody please tell me which politician was called out
slavery is so deeply baked the meat and dairy industry & our food chain in general. the scale of it all is baffling. animal agriculture gets billions & billions of taxpayer subsidies while the labor is fucking free. never eat meat in this fuckin country i guess. honestly just never eat
Games from older consoles are being made less and less available to the point so much of the industry's history could easily vanish without
Preserving classic videogames from consoles past.
I'm just gonna slide this on in here for anyone that is interested in preserving old games. They take it very seriously too, they want an archive of every single game. Like, they have lists of every game ever released for a system, and once that system gets old enough, they add it to their archive and start collecting. Their latest addition was the Xbox 360, they opened that vault up in September 2022, and proudly announced they'd finished their collection of games for it back in April.
Also, while their game archives are almost entirely complete, they've got another project of archiving the manuals that came with those games, and that is... considerably less well filled out. Their collection of Xbox 360 manuals is especially rough, they've only gotten manuals for three games. So if you've got some Xbox 360 games kicking around, and the manual's still with them, please consider scanning them and submitting them to the site!
Game preservation is important, but people rarely consider preserving the manuals as well; I really respect Vimm's Lair for being so thorough in their archival work.
I've been using Vimm's Lair for years, I have yet to see a single bad link or virus on the entire site. It's arguably the safest and most comprehensive archive of video games in existence. Preserved history
