Newly-split host culture is having the old host be so, so mad at you because you took everything from them, and only being able to say sorry because it wasn't your fault. Newly-split host culture is having to break the news that the alter your partner was dating split, and your all that's left. Newly-split host culture is having to watch everyone around you mourn what they lost, and not knowing how to comfort them because you were never there in the first place.
