One-on-One Reviews We'll have a team of experts available for one-on-one sessions with job-seekers to answer questions, review your resume, portfolio, or code, and conduct mock interviews. Sign up onsite with one of our volunteers specializing in art, programming, design, production, music/audio, writing, or QA, and get some expert advice, help polishing your application materials, or a chance to brush up on your interview skills. Social Mixer & Afterparty After the fair wraps up, there will be a social mixer nearby where participants can mingle and make connections over food and drinks. The career fair will run from noon to 6pm, and the mixer will start at 6 and run until 9pm. Because space is limited, we are issuing staggered admission tickets. When registering, you may select your admission time and optionally register for the mixer, or register for the mixer only. The mixer portion will be held offsite at a location TBA. If you are attending the mixer only, please check back for exact location details. SEEKING VOLUNTEERS! Are you an experienced professional who would like to help others in the community? We’re looking for volunteers to offer one-on-one resume and portfolio reviews, code reviews, and mock interviews to attendees. You can sign on to offer feedback and critique in one or more of the following areas: Art, Programming, Design, Production, Music/Audio, Writing, QA, Entry Level, Tech & Media, or General. If you’re interested, please contact us at [email protected]. If you'd like to join our volunteer list to participate in future events, please consider registering as an IGDA NYC volunteer.
