Big shoutout to Cornelius Fudge for not taking the easy out of “Hey, somehow, Voldemort returned and murdered a kid” during an international, Ministry-sponsored death maze for teenagers. This perfectly good excuse would’ve voided all liability for the Ministry and Hogwarts because really, who could have planned for that?

Instead, he looked at the whole situation and declared it an unexplained accident. Opening up a beautiful path for the Diggory family to file a wrongful death lawsuit if they desired.

Incredible leadership. Just top-tier crisis management.

So I’ve always had this knowledge before but it just occurred to me that the first time Ron and Hermione truly saw Voldemort was when he walked into the Hogwarts courtyard with a dead Harry in Hagrid’s arms.

That was the first time they actually truly saw Voldemort.

Harry was alone went he went into the chamber in PS/SS.

He was (nearly) alone when he saw Tom in CS. I say nearly because Ginny was there but she was unconscious. Still, it’s entirely possible that she got a glimpse of him before he took her life away. A sort of Phantom of the Opera esque moment where he lured her down into the chamber and then she collapsed. But I digress. 

He doesn’t appear at all in POA.

Harry’s the only (live) student in the graveyard in GOF.

They were not physically capable of being in the corridor to see him at the end of OOTP, no matter what the movies try to make you believe. (God the movies; they just—they just calmly stood there looking on I mean, really, Ron Weasley calmly stood there while Voldemort hovered over his friend? Yeah. There’s no way that’s canon. Ahem. Right. Digressing.)

He doesn’t actually appear in HBP and Ron/Hermione aren’t there to witness any of the memories.

They caught a glimpse of him during the Battle of the Seven Potters, I’ll give you that, we know Ron points out that he can fly so he must have seen him from a distance.

But no, it’s not until the end of Deathly Hallows that Ron and Hermione truly get a look at Voldemort. And it’s when Harry’s ‘dead’. Something about that is shocking but beautifully poetic. Only when Harry falls are they able to face Voldemort and stand their ground against him.

james and lily having so much fun just the two of them and ending it by staring at each other’s eyes for ten minutes before lily clears her throat and awkwardly says bye

after gryffindor wins the cup, party in the common room and james and lily are slightly drunk and they almost kiss but they’re interrupted by a way more drunk sirius and the moment is ruined and they’re too shy to talk about it after

james and lily starting to sit next to each other in every class because they have so much to tell each other

james and lily having silent conversations at the gryffindor table when their friends start to be ridiculous

james and lily studying together in the library and in the park

james and lily simply enjoying each other’s presence next to them

Istg my latest digital artworks are just like my sketchbook! A bunch of small sketches on a canvas (tho I almost never colour the ones in my sketchbook)… and I’m more than okay with that lol

My favs are definitely the Ginny n George, Ginny n Harry and Auror Ginny ones.. I see no pattern here😳 I also really love Ron’s puzzled face

There are a few more sketches on the way and maybe even an animation with Voldy👀 I really wanna explore as much characters as possible while my hyper fixation is in full swing🤭 Feel free to suggest any characters, especially ships!

You guys are NOT kind enough to Molly Weasley after what she went through. Losing both her brothers in the first war, her daughter being possessed by Voldemort, her youngest son nearly getting killed every year, taking in a random kid who was being abused by his guardians, nearly losing her husband, losing one of her sons . She is ALLOWED to be a bitch actually. All she was trying to do was protect her children from the fate her brothers experienced. I won't let you mfs act like she was evil for trying to protect Harry.
