⸻          𝐙𝐎𝐙𝐎  looks  down  at  the  stranger  on  the  streets  below  and,  after  a  pause,  snorts  instinctually  at  the  notion  of  their  own  death.  taking  one  last  swig  of  beer,  the  demon  finishes  the  bottle  off  and  drops  it,  sending  it  crashing  onto  the  streets  below,  laughing  a  bit  too  hard  for  anyone  without  context.

         they  are  standing  on  the  fire  escape  outside  of  their  apartment,  smoking  and  drinking,  perhaps  being  a  bit  too  expressive  with  their  hands  while  talking  on  the  phone  earlier  —  nothing  that  could  cause  their  own  death.  still,  the  stranger  is  concerned,  so  𝐙𝐎𝐙𝐎  can't  fault  him  for  that,  can  they?

         "nah,  i  think  i'm  okay!!"  they  shout  to  him  and  throw  up  a  thumbs  up  before  climbing  over  the  railing  and  dropping  to  the  ground  quite  easily.  unfortunately,  𝐙𝐎𝐙𝐎  forgot  that,  while  they  are  immortal,  their  human  vessel  unfortunately  is  not.  they  groan  only  after  sticking  the  heroic  landing,  resting  their  hands  on  their  knees,  trying  to  regain  their  vision  which  is  now  a  bit  cloudy  from  the  impact.  they're  still  getting  used  to,  well,  kind-of  humanity,  and  they  simply  can't  do  everything  they  could  when  they  were  back  home.

         "who  are  you?"  they  ask  quite  casually,  rising  from  their  pained  position  to  look  the  stranger  over.

⸻          when  𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐂𝐇  gets hyped  up  for  shows,  they  like  to  jump  around  a  lot,  as  one  might  expect  for  someone  getting  warmed  up  to  perform  in  a  punk-slash-metal  band,  particularly  if  they  are  in  fact  an  imp,  the  most  energetic  beings  to  scrape  their  way   out  of  hell.  𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐂𝐇  does not  need  energy  drinks  or  drugs  to  get  hyped  up  —  yet  they  partake  anyway.  what's  a  little  more  sin  to  the  eternally  damned?  (  𝑭𝑼𝑵,  they'll  insist.  )

          after  a  show,  𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐂𝐇  is  probably  twice  as  hyped  as  before  they  perform.  tonight,  the  house  is  packed  and  noisy,  the  crowd  loves  them,  and  all  the  members  have  been  spot  on  (  except  for  a  few  expected,  and  finely  corrected,  mistakes  ).  it's  safe  to  say,  saint  hotel  is  finally  getting  off  the  ground.  after  climbing  off  the  stage  and  with  his  ego  now  inflated,  𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐂𝐇  makes  a  beeline  for  the  bar  and  motions  to  the  bartender,  someone  they  know  well  by  now,  for  the  usual  whiskey  on  the  rocks.

          "are  you  enjoying  the  show?"  𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐂𝐇  turns  to  the  girl  waiting  for  a  drink  behind  them.  𝑤ℎ𝑜𝑜𝑝𝑠.  they  cut  in  front  of  her.  they  quickly  apologize.  "oh  shit,  sorry.  let  me  get  your  drink  !!  what  are  you  having?"
