I had this phase in sixth grade where I was obsessed with making things out of duct tape and so one time I made myself a backpack to use for school and then the next day this kid named Curtis was like “Wow how long did that take you” and I was like “Around two or three hours I think” and then he said “Wow!… That was two or three hours of wasted time.” and I said “Not as bad as the nine months your mom wasted being pregnant with you” and everyone was like oooOOOOOHHHHH and then I got detention

Today I learned that my uncle on my mom’s side was a gang member and went to jail for beating the heck out of some guy and also that my aunt Judy’s secret recipe for homemade cookies is actually just the chocolate chip cookie recipe printed on the back of the shortening packages she buys. How can I be related to such a cold-blooded criminal. Like honestly, Judith, how could you?
