My son was nonplussed by the young couple in the background hitting it off over some straight-from-the-bottle white wine. I was pumped to sneak a photo of them, though, because their Friday evening happiness was infectious. Maybe one day they'll reminiscence about this moment. But it was refreshing to see two young people living in it, completely technology-free. A valuable lesson these days...
