Hello everyone, it’s been a long time since I posted on here. As you may have heard by now, Namie Amuro will officially retire on September 16, 2018.
Namie has been my all time favorite artist since I discovered her in 2009. Through all the years my love and interest in her has never waned. I’ve looked forward to each upcoming release as much as the last one. As sad as I am, I completely support her decision. I’m proud of her for knowing when to stop and end her career on a high note.
I stopped updating this blog because I grew tired of tumblr’s updates that just kept making it worse. Also, everyone I met on here had moved on and it wasn’t the same anymore.
Now on to Namie! She still has a full year of activities left. This month alone she has announced a drama opening tie-in “Showtime”, a One Piece anime opening “Hope”, a 12 episode Hulu documentary series, a 7/11 Christmas campaign, and a final best album titled Finally coming out 11/8! There will definitely be more. If you have a twitter and would like to keep up, I suggest following @socuriousnamie.
