I'm not super proud that it's taken me 6 years to lose 70 pounds. I've been trying my whole life practically to lose weight, since I was 7 or so. In May of 2018, I hit 250 pounds and was really suffering because of my weight. I dedicated myself to losing at least 100 pounds.
I thought I just needed to find the "right diet" and stick to it, but it's been so much more than that. I've had to change in unexpected ways. I wish I could have gotten here faster, but this is how long it's taken me.
On the other hand, I'm excited to have lost 10 pounds this year so far. I remember how daunting it was to have 100 pounds to lose, but now that it's only 30 away, it feels so much more attainable! It's getting harder in many ways, but I'm still dedicated to my goal of losing 100 pounds.
