On January 15th, 1559, 25-year-old Elizabeth Tudor was crowned Queen of England. She was the final monarch from the magnificent and illustrious House of Tudor. She was a queen who was fiercely dedicated to her people and as she herself put it, “married to England”. 

Her 44 years on the throne provided her subjects with stability and consistency, and her sharp wits and clever mind helped deftly navigate her beloved kingdom through religious and political challenges.
