We are a group of five students dedicated to learn about the homeless situation in Calgary, Alberta and how we can help. We ask THEM how we can help. We are also comparing the differences around the world and how they are helping their homeless population

10 ave- 5th street... right next to the bottle depo there are all these empty buildings. we chatted with a homeless man and he gave us the great idea of putting a salvation army or any other used clothes store for the less forunate

We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty. We must start in our own homes to remedy this kind of poverty. -Mother Teresa
