@sororia04s :D Sia inspired eyeshadow!

Gray for the main part, blue in the creanse, brown on the lid, the white in the inner corner got a little murky but ah well, and some red on the lower lashline for that bit of fiery razzle-dazzle!

It’s all a tad darkish because I only have one gray matte shadow, and it’s in my Nightmare Before Christmas Hot Topic palette, lol. So I just used entirely that palette for all of this.

Tempest tries, and fails, to sneakily slip into Lucas's bag. They are very obvious about it, in fact.

“Tempest you truly live up to your name” Lucas sighs, snorting as he picks up the bag with blob in it “What could you possibly be hoping to achieve following me into sunlight?”

Tempest shakes with the frustration of a Mischief Interrupted, and slinks deep into the shadows with their eyes close to disappear in rage.

Lucas chuckles softly, before sighing heavily, looking down with a small smile as Toby jr licks his hand questioningly

“Our home is getting busy” he chuckles softly, petting Toby as his eyes droop, glancing around the lab with another sigh through his nose

He hadn’t let Bags return there since his outburst, nor Bobby. They had been left there, in his private library. Sure his husband had kept them company and fed but,,

He couldn’t look at them

He will be like Us

It was haunting him

He glances down again at Toby, ruffling his fur and scritching behind his ears “How about we go for another walk? See what the post has brought today” he chuckles, smiling small as Toby barks happily

Tempest knocks the item off fully in a jealous rage!

The shadow shoots out in a desperate bid to catch it, slowed by surfaces it had to cross!

But someone beats it to it

Toby barks and jumps, open about reaching up and catching the item midair, faster than any shadow could

He lands back down with happy tail wags, muffled barking and happy hops, barking muffled and happy at the blob as Lucas cheers

“Good catch little Toby!” He cheers, patting the puppy on a job well done as he grabs the item

Tempest seems to huff.

They've been trying to train Luna to be more mischievous. Alas...

Luna was however, best friends with the greatest cinnamon bun alive, who trots in with happy wags and happy pants down the pan stairs

Toby woofs softly, trotting over to lick Lucas’s hand as he laughs

“Hello Toblerone” he greets with a chuckle, showering the pup in pets “Has night already fallen? Or are you simply here to greet me?” He grins, his sight broken from Tempest the Blob

Tempest pushes it further.

“Tempest why must you tempt fate so much? You will not get an extra thimble, these acts will not reward you” Lucas tuts gently, a bemused look in his eyes, his smile wry

Already a shadow curled underneath the cabinet, prepared to catch the object Tempest was pushing closer and closer over the edge

“And I thought I would have to worry about Luna” he chuckles, glancing at the snoozing kitten

At the same time, far away, the very Stubborn Blob Felix had warned his own new friend about sits on Lucas's desk, looking Lucas in the eye as it pokes at something close to the edge.

“Tempest the First, Do Not” Lucas states, staring the little blob just as intently in the eyes, raising his brow

He could just about hear his smaller, more hidden shades laughing in the pitch-dark corners of his lab, intensely amused by the antics Tempest had brought since the day they’d arrived, in a box filled to the brim with cheap iron keychains

It had awarded the blob the extra Title

Lucas snorts softly to himself

Blob scoots closer, hugging.

He pets them quietly, still staring at the phone for a long while, lost in thought

His own yawn breaks his concentration, humming exhaustedly as he turns to the blob and scoops them back up

“Alright, hidey time for you buddy, I’m serious. And please stay inside there, I’m serious. One of your fìlos was a right stubborn ass and,,” he trails off, remembering the wispy, sad sight, a near ghost of Nothing

Like he was becoming

He suppresses his shudder, tucking the blob in his jacket “Just stay hidden okay? I’ll get ya a nice big box, and a nice big metal cup to go home with. We’ve got loads of cool souvenirs here” he says with another pat on the blobs head, before covering the last visible spot

Climbing onto his bed again, he takes a moment to take off his pillow cover, tossing it over the side of the nightstand for extra measure, before finally collapsing onto his covers

Exhaustion pulls him down fast, but his sleep remains uneasy for the night

The Blob looks at the wall Doc would be behind, and then looks at Felix questioningly.

Felix laughs quietly, scooping the blob closer “Aw fìlos, you’re such a helper type Huh? Dunno what made you decide to help me, the other blob tried to bite my hand off” he snorts, patting his head off

“Nah you don’t wanna go to Doc right now, trust me. He’s a bit spooked by all of ya, he’ll be up all night being scared” he waves off with a sleepy grin “Nah let him sleep, let him sleep. Besides, I don’t really wanna tell him honestly, cause it’s ah,,” he sighs softly, petting the blob

“It’s my ma” he says quietly, a near-whisper in the dark, his glowing eyes dimming where he stared at the phone again

It flips the bottle.

Lands perfectly.

“Ohhh!” Felix cheers silently, making a face of mock disbelief “Oh shame on me! For doubting you fìlos, shame on me” he chuckles, reaching to pat the blob

“That was a bad guess on my part” he chuckles softly, the tiniest smidge of a glow in his green eyes “You got some skill. I’m betting Doc’s nonno’s are gonna love that trick” he smiles soft, patting the blob once more

He glances at his phone again, sighing deeply, blowing a few through his lips “Doc would get me” he mumbles, chewing the inside of his cheek “Sophia just don’t get it, it’s not that easy. Doc would understand” he gestures

He doesn’t move from his spot on the floor however, simply staring at his phone with a faraway gaze again

The Blob turns over the bottle and dumps some water out. It looks at Felix, and flips the bottle.

“Woah hey buddy- you’re lucky this floors tile, my theìa would have both our heads if I start water damage in here” Felix half-jokes in a whisper, grabbing his tiny pack of paper napkins and tossing them on the puddle

He watches the blob toss the bottle, before laughing quietly “Aw ya playing chance fìlos? You’re a right charmer ey?” Felix grins sleepily, rubbing his eyes

“Alright, I’m game. Next one’s gonna be sides” he guesses, leaning against the bed again to watch, failing to suppress a huge yawn

The Blob vanishes, soon returning with a bottle of water and one of Doc's granola bars.

“Hehe, you’re a nice one. How’d you even carry this?” He says, glancing at the shit doorway, shaking his head with a chuckle

“Thanks buddy, but I’m afraid this ain’t gonna help right now. Bit of a spooky hunger, if you catch my drift” he jokes softly with a gesture towards himself, sighing and leaning against his bed, sitting still on the floor

“Could probs give myself one hell of a boost by calling, go figure. Fix two problems in one” he hums with a tiny uptick of a smile, dropping it just as fast

“Add a whole bunch tho” he mumbles, staring at the top of his nightstand with a faraway look

The Blob ducks under the covers instead, like a cat.

It prompts a raspy chuckle out of Felix, reaching to scritch the blob

“That’s adorable buddy, but I’m afraid those curtains ain’t cutting it” he gestures to the thin fabrics “You’re gonna be a sizzled pancake if I accidentally toss off the covers. Here, how about my jacket? I can make ya a lil cave” he yawns wide, reaching for the worn leather

He crouches down by the nightstand, shuffling and shoving his jacket underneath it, covering the open sides between the legs best he could to make a lil cave, yawning wide again

“I could kill for a smoke right now” he mumbles, practically dead on his feet with fatigue, and hunger

It blinks once.

Felix snorts sleepily “That’s not much of an answer pal” he mumbles, shifting a little on the bed

He sighs again, before forcing himself to sit back up, rubbing his face again as he looks around his small room

“I euh, my stuff still packed up. Do you think a shoe will work for now? I’ll get ya a box tomorrow” he mumbles, sounding utterly exhausted

Well...

Felix knows Doc doesn't really have control over the blobs, so...

This one decides to get closer and gently bap Felix's face with a cold nub.

Felix doesn’t startle

“Another one? Guh why now” he groans, rubbing his tired, jet-lagged face as he stares at the newest blob

“How long have you been here fìlos?” He mumbles

Doc lays silently for a while, considering his options.

"... Pssst. Blob."

The same gray eyes open up.

"... Go check on him."

He’s sitting on his bed

Dull eyes over bloodshot whites

He was staring at his phone, fidgeting with a little charm hanging from its worn surface, it’s paint chipped and cracked

His eyes gain a tiny glow, biting at the edge of his lip, the hunger of his risk so very visible

He suddenly shakes his head with a sigh, glancing around him and tossing the phone onto the nightstand with a small clatter, rolling over on the bed

He doesn’t move anymore, his eyes shut, his breathing quiet

No snoring

Not sleeping

The blob slinks back in before Felix gets there.

"So?" Doc asks.

The Shade looks down sadly.

"Oh, no. It was that bad?"

It nods.

Doc sits back. "Now I wish I'd gone to listen myself. I don't know how to... whoa, hey-"

The blob moves closer, and zips up to Docs face. It examines him for a moment, peering at Doc in a way that suggests it's looking at more than just his face, his physical form. It seems to make a decision, and goes and melts into Doc's own shadow.

Suddenly, it is like Doc went and listened himself.

Its night by the time Felix returns, a whisper through the walls, noticeable only by the barely perceptible shift in temperature for just one second

He can hear footsteps in Felix’s room once the shift is gone again
