i'm playing pokemon for the first time ever and got "let's go, pikachu" and have been LOVING it. thought it'd be fun to draw gravy as a brand new pokemon trainer yahoooooo

i only ever watched the indigo league show as a wee shit and never played the games, so rewatching the anime and being a trainer as an almost 30-year-old adult is both hilarious and oddly rewarding for me UwU

@johnnylandslide asked me a while back who i'd ship gravy with besides aymeric and after much deliberation i finally saw the answer that was right in front of me: the big ass fucking city state leader dragon that i adore so much UwU

i originally mained DRG from ARR-END so when gravy's shipped with vrtra she'll be a DRG cause that way the thought of "hey the WoL can also become an azure dragoon and are imbued with the power of the eye, so headcanon is that they have the same lifespan as an actual dragon so vrtra doesn't get the hraesvelgr treatment YAHOOOOOO"

literally pulled mystery catte outta my ass last night after a conversation with a fellow bookclub member about their wol and emmanellain, and I was like "u know what. emm should have a hot meow meow bf too, as a treat" and thus xaman ehk was born EHEHEHEHEHEHEHE

def still workshopping here but what i got so far is that xaman was born and raised in tuliyollal until his family got murked by rogue bandits when he was a young teenager, him being the only survivor. he wanted to get as far from home as possible so he ran away to shaaloani where he had to grow up fast to survive the harsh conditions of the land

it's there that he took up the viper discipline and became a deadly force to reckon with, later using his skills to be a mercenary/man-for-hire sort. need some gritclaws culled down? sure thing. a bodyguard to accompany you while traveling from urqopacha to yak t'el? easy. need to put a hit out on a rival merchant stealing your customers? no problemo

i'm debating on how exactly i want him to travel to eorzea and meet hideaki and da gang but for now pls meet my mercenary-turned-ishgardian-watch-dawg xaman ehk ☺️☺️☺️☺️

so one of da fc besties REALLY likes hideaki so of course i had to do it to 'em and make some screenies of our blorbos together UwU wol canon!hideaki is gay but rp!hideaki gives no shits about a person's gender/identification. he's also dense when it comes to folks who are interested in him and/or flirting in both versions which often has comical (and sometimes painfully awkward) results 😩
