Final Announcement

*sigh* Okay, everyone. I've got some bad news... It's with a heavy heart that I must say I have to quit this log. Maybe not forever, maybe I'll revive it soon, but it'll be a different canon, different continuity. Not this one. The fact of the matter is, I began this long without planning everything out. And then I suffered the consequences. Logging in a story started to feel constrained. It wasn't fun anymore. And the story was getting clogged; this story is long and human memory is not. I needed to refresh myself after every short break. And besides, the story was being crushed under its own convolution. So this is Eppie, signing off of this log. Or at least, this canon. But everyone, stay followed. We may be back soon, but with a more polished story. ♡

ANNOUNCEMENT

So, to make you all feel better, basically since the last update I haven't been running my tamagotchis. And I know I've been slacking on here. I seriously don't want to, but I just came back from working for a long time in another state, and I'm about to go to another country on the 6th, won't be back until the 24th, and freaking COLLEGE begins on the 25th! My schedule is SO BOOKED! I'm not going to be logging until at least the 25th.

But don't worry, Watt, Vinn, Firr, and Ayrr will be back then with more shenanigans. I swear I'm trying to log as much as possible but my schedule just won't allow for it. But it WILL be done!

So... My hiatus continues, but on the 25th we'll be back.

If you happen to be a fan then I'm so sorry. I'm really trying here. And also one more thing. I’ve been going through personal change for a long time. Some of you may know I’m transgender (through the switch in pronouns a while back). And I have finally come to a conclusion on what I want my name to be.

ACT 9; Scene 1+2- Double Entendre

*Dhabi stands in the Homestead in the dark holding two eggs. The clock strikes 3AM.*

Dhabi: You two will grow up fast. You will overcome this monarchy. You will bring back Tama. You will find Cain. You will restore order to our Homestead. I love you both.

*Dhabi writes on two pieces of paper “Ayrr” and “Firr.” She binds the soul of the “Ayrr” egg to the Coffret Set P’s, and had the “Firr” egg take her place in the iDL.*

Dhabi: I love you both. And I’m sorry.

*She opens the door carefully and steps outside. She takes one balloon from her head and ties it to the door. She walks away from the homestead. The eggs inside, as well as all the tamagotchis sleeping soundly.*

_____THE NEXT MORNING_____

Abu: WHERE IS SHE?

Scotia: Darling don’t yell so loud! Think about the kids.

Abu: Dhabi is gone!

Scotia: What??

*Scotia runs downstairs carrying Watt and Vinn, putting them on the floor and running over to the eggs*

Scotia: She left those...

Abu: She just left them for us? At least they’ll make good servants for our kids.

Scotia: Yes, quite darling.

*Suddenly, both children and eggs begin glowing at the same time*

Scotia: Oh my god they’re evolving!

Abu: Yes... And these two... “Ayrr” and “Firr”...

Scotia: Are we going to respect those names?

Abu: I don’t care as long as they’re respectful to us and our children.

*The eggs hatch first, revealing an Aokumotchi named Ayrr, and a Nittobotchi named Firr.*

Scotia: Hmm... we’ve got a lot of boys this generation...

*The children then morph their shape, Watt becoming Cosmotchi and Vinn becoming Young Oyajitchi*

Abu: Hm... Well, Watt you look wonderful. Young Oyajitchi, your only hope is to become Kuromametchi.

Vinn: W-what?

Abu: Are you about to talk back to me?

Vinn: N-no... No father...

Abu: Good. You’d best stay your tongue.

*Vinn looks down, solemn*

Scotia: Kids, now that you’re teens, we would normally be testing you. But we’re holding off on that for a bit.

Watt: Why, mother?

Scotia: We’re going to wait until we can put their magic into you.

Watt: What? Is that possible?

Scotia: Your father and I have been developing that skill and we think we’ve got it. Anyway, kids, it’s time for you to go to your room. We’ll be using that technique when you’re all adults.

Watt&Vinn: Yes mother.

*The kids go upstairs as Scotia takes the babies in her arms. Suddenly, the two babies begin to change shape*

Scotia: Oh...

Abu: Huh... That was fast...

*Ayrr morphs into Mitsumarutchi and Firr changes into Kaubotchi*

Scotia: Well, at least they’re cute.

Abu: But that Ayrr stole our baby’s look...

_______THE NEXT DAY_______

Watt: Get out of my way.

Firr: Y-yes... sorry sir.

Watt: Uugh, punk.

*Watt shoves Firr to the side*

Vinn: Hey, Firr, are you alright?

Firr: Yes sir.

Vinn: ...Alright then.

*Vinn walks off*

Ayrr: Uugh, I don’t know why you listen to those snooty kids.

Firr: Because Prince Abu would have our heads. And I wish I meant that figuratively.

Ayrr: I hate them.

Firr: I do too. But don’t tell them.

Ayrr: Never.

*Ayrr hugs Firr just as Abu walks by*

Abu: What are you two doing.

Fyrr: N-nothing, Prince Abu.

Abu: You two are set to evolve soon. Get to the living room.

*All four of the children gather in the living room as a bright light engulfs them all.*

Scotia: Now we get to see the darling adults our little children get to be.

Abu: Yes, quite my darling.

*The first one to fully form is Watt, a Kuchipatchi. Next comes Vinn, a Kuromametchi. The final two take a few more seconds, but Ayrr becomes Bokuhoshitchi and Firr becomes Cosmotchi.*

Scotia: Oh you two look love-

Abu: WHAT? A KUCHIPATCHI? I thought your brother looked bad as a teen but YOU look ridi-

Scotia: Abu! That’s ru-

Abu: SHUT UP!

*Scotia goes silent.*

Vinn: Thank you, father.

Watt: I’m sorry father.

*Ayrr leans into Firr*

Ayrr: I think they’re scared of them too...

Firr: Shhh!

Abu: We will talk about this later. All of you, to your rooms.

Ayrr&Firr: Yes Prince Abu.

Watt&Vinn: Yes Father.

Scotia: G-goodnight... everyone...

*Phew* That was a long episode.

So lemme explain what’s going down. I’ve been trapped at my dad’s house recently. Not very good for logging. To tell you all the truth, all of them are adults. But I have to save a bit of content for the future. Don’t worry, that’ll come tomorrow. I am, however, leaving them on permapause for a few days while I go out and enjoy company with friends. I’ll log if possible, but for the next few days (including today), some stats won’t be recorded. Sorry for this inconvenience, but I did just graduate and I can finally relax. Thanks for reading! Act 9 is coming. The double feature (for making you guys wait) is in progress. The kids are already adults, so I’m taking out their batteries for a while, while I prepare these next few scenes.

*Abu and Scotia walk through the homestead, everyone bowing to them*

Abu: I see everyone is behaving just right. Good, good.

Scotia: Yes, darling. Is everything seet up, Tama dear?

Tama: ...

Scodita: Awww,someone giving the silent treatment? Is the threat of all of DoriTama Town  going against you is Abu says anything just GETTING to you?

Tama: .. Everything is set up.

Abu: Excellent.

Nova: ... OH GOD DAMNIT!

Abu: Wha-ACK!

Tama: Nova! What are you doing?

Nova: Ngh... Spirit... Manipulation...HELP ME GUYS!

*Tama gets behind Nova and uses his own Spirit manipulation to keep Abu down. Suddenly, Tama turns to nova and lifts him up and throws him against a wall. A loud crack is heard*

Dhabi: NOVA!

Ab: uugh... what happened?

Scotia: Ehehe. Simple really. Tama here left his guard down. Perfect for me to manipulate HIS spirit. I am losing control tho- AAAA!

*Tama breaks free from Scotia’s manipulations*

Tama: Nova!

*Tama and Dhabi run up to Nova. He is slumped over with his eyes glazed over*

Dhabi: He’s... dead...

*Tama flies backwards, shocked*

Tama: No... No...

Abu: And now my dear, may the ceremony commence.

Dhabi: I now pronounce you... Man and wife...

Abu: I love you, darling. Let us make beautiful children.

*Scotia looks over at the two eggs on the sofa*

Scotia: Yes, darling, let’s.

Abu: And let’s not forget about you. Dhabi.

Dhabi: Wh-what? Me?

Abu: Oh yes, our children will need two servants. You can dump one into Nova’s old toy.

Dhabi: ... Yes, alright.

Scotia: Go to the matchmaker tomorrow, though. Today... We celebrate us.

*The eggs on the sofa wiggle and glow. An Aokumotchi and Pantsutchi emerge crying*

Abu: Don’t cry, young ones. Your future is destined for greatness.

Scotia: Have we chosen names? Or should we each name one.

Abu: I like the latter option. I’m going to name the Pantsutchi, Vinn.

Scotia: And I’ll name my Aokumotchi, Watt.

*The young children begin to glow and shake. Vinn morphs into the shape of Tamatchi, while Watt takes the form of Mitsumarutchi.

Abu: Yes... my children. Your real future begins.

Tama: Alright guys, today we’re going to be bulking you up.

Dhabi: Is it gonna hurt?

Tama: What? No, no, no. Not like THAT. We’re just getting pieces and happy symbols today.

Dhabi: Oh.

Tama: You guys all already have one for being adults for 48 hours. Now we just need to set out and find the rest. We’re gonna start with the P’s. Scotia, let's just do your second one for now. To the bakery!

Scotia: Yeah, sure.

*A few minutes later*

Scotia: Okay, I’ve eaten it. Now what.

*A bright light surrounds Scotia as a puzzle piece appears in front of her*

Scotia: Oh. Excellent.

Tama: Yeah... Finally... I drained part of our wallet looking for which food it was. Alright, NEXT! Nova, play with this Fan. 

Nova: Uh, okay...

*As soon as his hand touches the fan, the same bright light generates a puzzle piece.*

Nova: Niiiiice.

Dhabi: Me next! Me next!

Tama: Haha, okay.We'll go to your restaurant next, then.

Dhabi: Alriiiight.

Tama: Wait I have to use my wallet again.. Eurgh.

Dhabi: LET'S GOOOO!

*A few moments later*

Tama: FINALLY!

*A flower falls from the sky with her symbol emblazoned on it*

Dhabi: Yaaaay!

Tama: Alright. Abu, you're ne-

Abu: Got it.

Tama: ...What?

Abu: I got my third happy symbol.

Tama: ...What.

Abu: Well, I'm kind of royalty now. I just got some servants to do it.

*Abu triumphantly displays two happy symbols*

Tama: How the hell did they get your symbols for you?

Abu: They just gave me theirs.

Tama: What? but that’s dishonest! You didn’t earn them!

Abu: Listen, my magic accepts it, okay? I’m more powerful, Tama. SEE?

*Abu throws his hand up, flinging Tama into a bookshelf*

Abu: And I did earn these. I’m ROYAL!

Tama: Augh..... Ow....

Nova: Tama! Are you okay?

Scotia: Get away from him, Nova!

*Scotia blocks Nova from getting closer*

Dhabi: Scotia! What are you doi-

Scotia: I’m TIRED of being treated like the runt of this family!

Tama: What? Nobody treated you like one!

Scotia: Well it sure felt like it! That’s why... Why...

Tama: Why WHAT, Scotia? Why WHAT?

Abu: She’s marrying me.

Tama: Excuse me?!

Scotia: That’s right. Me and Abu are getting married. I’ll be a princess I’ll be dignified and important. He’s giving me my pieces I deserve tomorrow. Our children will be magnificent. And if you disobey them we’ll have your heads.

Nova: Scotia? What happened to you? What happened to my best friend since childho-

Abu: She DIED, Nova! She died long ago! she died when you all mistreated her.

Dhabi: Scotia, sweetie, nobody mistreated you.

Scotia: Oh yeah? You know who mistreated ALL of us?

Tama: Who?

Scotia: CAIN! Tama keeps talking about her, but she’s been our absent mother, never seen! Only heard!

Abu: A break at OUR EXPENSE!

Nova: ...

Abu: Let’s go back to the house. And you’d better watch your steps around us.

*Abu and Scotia walk confidently, arm in arm, smirks plastered on their faces. Nova and Dhabi sulk behind, and further back Tama lies on the ground*

Scotia: Tama... Why aren’t I evolving too?

Tama: You’re a few hours out of sync with them accidentally. you’ll catch up shortly. We’ll just test them now and you later today..

Scotia: Oh... okay...

*The first tamagotchi to emerge is Nova, a Cosmotchi*

Nova: Hey, Cosmotchi like cosmos... Like superNOVA? Cool

Tama: Haha, nice.

*Abu emerges next as a Sunnytchi*

Tama: And Abu is a Su-AAH!

Abu: What?

Tama: N-nothing...

*Tama goes pale and stares at Abu*

Abu: Tama... is something wrong?

Tama: N... no... Everything is... fine. Let’s see what Dhabi becomes...

*Dhabi’s glow stops a few seconds later, a Hineometchi standing where she was.*

Tama: W-wow... Dhabi, you look great.

Dhabi: Hee hee, thank you!

Tama: Alright everyone, were going to test the three teens now, and wait to see how Scotia develops.

*The three tamagotchis line up as Tama floats in front of them*

Tama: I will come to each of you in turn. I will examine your souls and determine your powers.

*Tama first steps up to Nova*

Tama: Hmm...Cain usually does this so... let me see... Ah, there we go. You’ve got... Teleportation and Spirit Manipulation.

Nova: Niceeee

Tama: Haha, yep. Next up, Abu.

*Tama steps in front of Abu*

Tama: Alri-WHOAH POWER!

*Tama is pushed back a few feet by Abu’s power*

Abu: What happened?

Tama: Hmm...Nothing. You just have... a lot of raw power... Come talk to me later.

Abu: Okay... what powers do I have?

Tama: Please, come talk to me later.

Abu: O...kay...

Tama: Dhabi, come here.

*Dhabi steps forward*

Tama: I sense in you... Telekinesis and Projection.

Dhabi: Alright, cool.

Tama: That will be it for everyone. Abu, I need you to see me. Everyone, go to your rooms. We’re waiting on Scotia to evolve now.

*all the Tamagotchis leave the main room, leaving only Tama and Abu*

Tama: Listen Abu, you’re what’s knows as a Catalyst.

Abu: What does that mean?

Tama: Hopefully? Nothing. In the next few days, as we get Happy Symbols and puzzle pieces, you’re gong to notice your power rise much more than your peers. Hopefully you’ll never need to use it, but be wary. they can be unpredictable.

Abu: I gotcha, don’t worry. So, what powers do I have?

Tama: That’s the thing. Catalysts have... all of them

Abe: Whoaaaah. Neat. Am I free to go now?

Tama: That will be all.You can go to your room.

Abu: I think I’ll chill outside for a bit.

Tama: Well, alright...

*Abu heads for the door and opens it up. As he walks outside he mutters something about a weak leader*

Tama: Something’s up with him...

Tama: Are you ready, Scotia?

Scotia: Ready as I’ll ever be.

*A painted Nokobotchi stands in the center of the room*

Tama: I sense... Teleportation, Telekinesis, and Spirit Manipulation

Scotia: Wow... that’s... surprising...

Tama: Why would it be surprising?

Scotia: I always thought I’d be like... the runt of the group.

Tama: Scotia, you’re no ru-

Nova: SCOTIA! COME UP HERE!

Scotia: I have to... go... but thank you, Tama.

Tama: You’re welco-

*Scotia runs up the stairs to Nova*

Tama: Sigh...she is something else, isn’t she...

*A few seconds later a screan is heard from Nova’s room*

Tama: SCOTIA!!! OH MY GOD!

*Tama flies up the stairs as quickly as possible. He burst through the door to see Scotia standing there with a big grin on her face, looking at a Startchi*

Tama: Wait.. .Nova?

Nova: Yep! I evolved! Startchi is simply FABULOUS!

Tama: I agree with you there... Wait, that means the others evolved too! Come on!

*Tama flies out of the room and calls Abu and Dhabi. A Giragiratchi and Prince Tamahiko step out*

Tama: Whoah... Abu you’re...

Abu: Prince Tamahiko, yes. 

Tama: ... and Dhabi! You’re so pretty!

Dhabi: I know darling! Simply stunning!

Tama: You’ve all grown up so well. In a while few hours, Scotia, you’ll evolve too. and then we can work on getting all your Pieces and Symbols to max out your powers.

Abu: I certainly... can’t wait.

Tama: Until then, I think you should all relax. Tomorrow we’ll work on all that stuff. Take a break until then.

All Tamagotchis: Got it!

*All the tamagotchis file into one room to chat. Tama sits down in a chair*

Tama: I... need my rest...

*A FEW HOURS LATER*

Scotia: Wh...whoah!!

*Scotia turns white as her image beings to morph. Suddenly, an Amiamitchi falls out of the light.

Nova: Oh... wow.

Dhabi: You look so good!

Scotia: No... NO NO NO DAMMIT!

Tama: Cain, it was a MISTA-

Tama: I think... I think you may ned a break from taking care of them.

*Tama spends a good 30 minutes picking Tamagotchis out of my collection*

Tama: There. Finally decided what to run.

*Tama places the white iDL, iDL 15th anniversary, P’s, and P’s Coffret Set on the table in front of him*

Tama: May you rise to bring hope to the Howell Homestead... for Cain...

*The tamagotchis glow, and four eggs appear in their place*

Tama: I can’t believe she’s never run the white iDL before... Oh well, good time now.

*A few minutes later the eggs began to glow and hath. Out of the P’s egg comes Pinkbotchi. A few seconds later, Aokumotchi emerged from the Coffret Set. A little while after that a Hyurutchi comes out of the 15th anniversary iDL, and Momoirotchi from the white iDL*

Tama: One of each sex from each version. Neat. Shipping time?

*All the babies begin to simultaneously cry for various things*

Tama: ... I now have a newfound respect for tamagotchi owners... Let’s see... What to name you... How about after places on Earth? I know!

*Tama looks at the P’s and Coffret Set*

Tama: It’s like there are two pairs. I’ll name the Coffret Set Nova and the blue P’s Scotia. Like Nova Scotia!

*Tama looks over at the iDL pair*

Tama: And you two... I’ll name the 15th anniversary Abu and the white iDL Dhabi. Hooray!

*More crying emerges. Tama covers his ears and shudders*

Tama: Oh god I’m in hell. This is worse than Tavyil...

*One guling care-ridden hour passes. Suddenly, all four tamagotchis are engulfed in a bright white light. Tama is carrying diapers and sweating profusely.*

Announcement

Hi everyone.

I think it's about time I explain my semi-prolonged absence.

My life has been taking some very radical turns recently, and I can't really explain them all here. But a lot of things have left me emotionally incapable of logging. But also, to an extent, raising tamagotchis, and it's only now that I think I'm ready to come back.

As a result of this incapability, my iDL, Friends, and Angel have all died. I'm still keeping my v5 alive, but at this point it seems like it's barely hanging on. And don’t worry, Tama isn’t gone for good. He’ll be back in spirit form, the Angelgotchi was just an experience for him to have.

This doesn't mean I'm stopping my log, far from it. I just came back from a very long three month hiatus and I don't plan on doing that. I'll be back with regular logging shortly, but I can't move on from this generation until I wrap it up on this Tumblr Log, and it's far from BEING wrapped up; we are only on Scene 2 of the projected 6 or 7. But give it a few days and I'll move along, I just need to work these deaths into the story.

I wanted to explain that my life has hit a very rough patch recently, but I'm bouncing back, and Tamagotchis and my logs are at the top of my "get-back-to" list.

Me: Why’d you think I got you all the space themed stuff for your rooms? I dropped like, 10,000 GP on that!

Me: No prob.

Conifi: Hey Aqur, yesterday you were a Bakutchi, and now you’re Hatugatchi!

Aqur: Yep! Cain, I assume you have plans for me?

Me: Oh yeah, definitely.

*I confidently hold up a steamed bun. Conifi and Aqur flash a thumbs-up*

Valor: Whoah, dude, what even am I? I was a Mamekatchi just yesterday and now I’m...

Grace: You’re Uhyotchi. I’vee seen them before. I grew into a lovely Watatchi from yesterday’s Ichigotchi, of course. I feel dignified.

Me: And I assume you’ll want to become Makkiko?

Grace: Actually Cain... No.

Me: No?

Grace: I”m quite content the way I am. I don’t need to look prettier to feel self-worth.

Me: How noble, Grace. I’ll respect that.

*An audible sigh comes from upstairs and a Monakatchi descends the stairs*

Stren: Lookie look. More of the same, a Monakatchi...

Me: Stren, please. I only allowed you to evolve into that becaues I’m taking it easy first generation. But don’t be so hard on yourself. Many good Tamagotchis finished their lives as a Monakatchi. You’ll be like one of them, I’m sure.

Stren: You promise?

Me: Of course I so darling, I love you.

*Stren smiles weakly*

Tama: Hey, dude, don’t sweat it. Sure, Monakatchi is common, but you aren’t, Stren. You’re one of a kind. NOW!

*Tama flies to the front of the room*

Tama: We’ve got some work to do.

*The Takotenshi turned Oyajitenshi Lines everyone up and readies them for testing*

Me: Thank you for organizing everything, Tama. As you all know, I will reach into your spirits and analyze what I see. We’ll begin with The v5. Valor?

*Valor steps forward and I peer into his dark blue spirit*

Me: Hmmm... I sense... Teleportation and Telekinesis... and Spirit Manipulation.

Valor: Neat-o.

Me: Next up, Grace.

*Grace’s aura shines a bright golden*

Me: Oh... Oh... I see.

Grace: What?

Me: Nothing... Nothing. I sense all 5 powers in you, Grace.

Grace: Wait, REALLY?

Me: Yes! We can take a look at your Weaponization in a bit. Next up, Aqur.

*Aqur steps confidently forward. His soul is a bright neon green.*

Me: Hmmm... I sense teleportation, spirit manipulation, and projection.

Me: Next, Conifi. Hmmm... Huh. That’s interesting.

Me: You match Aqur not only in personality and toddler-stage, but in magic powers as well.

*The Monakatchi meekly steps forward and bows his head*

Stren: Whoah.

Tama: Wait, THAT many? Seriously?

Me: Surprisingly, yes.

Me: See, I told you. Now, I need to speak with Grace in private everyone, so please head back to your rooms. Remember, you’re free to try out your powers, but use them responsibly.

Me: Grace... When I sensed your aura, I sensed something else other than powers.

Grace: What do you mean?

Me: You’re a Catalyst, Grace. And that sounds very strange, because those shouldn’t exist.

Tama: Let me explain. After Tavyil, the horrible amalgam of me and two other truly evil tamagotchis this homestead bore, we thought the Catalysts, or the extreme power holders of the Homestead, would disappear. You being a Catalyst means there’s either residual energy...

Me: ...Or something bigger just beyond the horizon.

Grace: Oh... What does that mean for me?

Me: Nothing. In the next few days, as I raise bonding and get Happy Symbols, etc., you’re gong to notice your power rise much more than your peers. Hopefully you’ll never need to use it, but be wary.

Grace: I understand  my responsibility.

*I lift my hands above my head holding an Angelgotchi. A light shoots from the toy toward Tama. It engulfs and absorbs him.*

Me: Are you okay, Tama?

*An Obaketchi looks up at me from near a grave*

Tama: Oh my god... I’m... alive again!

*I smile at Tama as he beams back. A few minutes later I hear the distinctive beep of birth. Tama morphs into Obaketchi2.*

Me: So, Tama, now that you’re alive, shall we bring new life into the world?

Tama: Yes Cain, let’s.

*I put our my iDL 15th anniversary, Friends Dream Town, and white v5*

Me: May these tamagotchis hold life for generations to come.

*Bright lights shoot out of the toy, filling the room with the lights of purple and white hues*

Me: The ceremony is complete.

*Before me sit five eggs, three for the v5 and one to each of the others.*

Me: Did the v5... reset?

Tama: Regrettably, yes. Saven and Nyil fusing completely wrecked the family line. In order to get rid of them for good I had to refresh their timeline completely.

Me: Damn... savage.

Tama: Why thank you.

*A few minutes later, the three v5 eggs wiggle. A male Mimifuwatchi, female Omututchi, and male Futabatchi emerge from the eggs shortly after*

Me: Awww, how cute!

Tama: Quite! What are you going to name them?

Me: I’ve decided the main Mimifuwatchi is going to be Valor, the female Omututchi is going to be Grace, and the male Futabatchi will be Aqur.

Tama: Interesting. They all seem to be named after... character traits?

Me: Yes. Valor, grace, and accuracy.

*Tama is cut off my the sound of the iDL hatching*

Me: Oh, excellent!

*A small green Hyurutchi emerges from the egg*

Me: Awwww!!! You’re such a cute smol blob. I’m going to name you Conifi

*Shortly thereafter, the Friends’ egg wiggles. Out from the cracks comes an Ahirukitchi.*

Me: Hmmm... lots of boy Tamagotchis this generation. Alright, you will be named Stren.

Tama: Let me guess, strength?

Me: You bet. Now, let’s start taki-

All tamagotchis: WAAAAAH!!!!

Me: OH GOD I FORGOT HOW MUCH BABY STAGES SUCKED.

*After one hour of literal hell, i hear the beeps of evolution come from all the tamagotchis. I breathe a sigh of relief knowing that they can all effectively communicate through english now*

Me: Let’s see what we have. Tama, of course, is Maruten. No surprise there. Valor, Grace, and Aqur became Mousetchi, Tororotchi, and Ahirukitchi respectively; Stren became the adorable Turtletchi, and Conifi became... Oh! Another Ahirukitchi!

Conifi: Niiiiiice. Punch it in Aqur.

*Aqur and Conifi share an awkward fistbump*

Me: Hehehe. Wow. This is going to be a very hefty generation with so many of you... I guess we’ll begin testing tomorrow! Everyone should head off to bed... I certainly need it after THAT baby stage...

Tama: That was months ago. You’ve talked to them. None of them bear any grudge!

Me: ... All of it...

Tama: Please, we need to allow ourselves forgiveness.

Me: I didn’t help them when I needed to...

Me: OOF!

*I’m blasted across the room, debris in my wake*

Cent: Hyaa!

Sella: Damn you Tavyi-AAGH

*Tavyil blasts Sella backwards with a red blast while Cent manages a blow to their stomach with a fireplace poker*

Tavyil: gRAHAHH!!!

*Tavyil shoots a blast at my feet. I turn Helmgate into a shield and block it, then revert it back into a sword and lunge*

Me: You’re going to have to try a little harder than that!

*I turn Helmgate into a shield and put it on my back as I drop to my knees. Halle jumps on top of the shield as I stand up, springboarding her. She summons five kunai knives and launches them at Tavyil, doing a somersault as she launches*

Tavyil: GrAAA-AagH!!!

*Tavyil launches a few more blasts, ricocheting off the walls and hitting me. I absorb them just as they turn blue*

Me: Much obliged, Tama. Let me return the FAVOR!

*I lunge at Tavyil as I turn Helmgate into a huge hammer. I whack them as hard as I can, sending them flying*

Tavyil: AAGH! nO! cAIN hOw COulD you do tHiS sTO YOUR Own ChILD???

Me: Because my child...

*I hit them again*

Me: Hurt...

*And again*

Me: THE OTHERS!!!!

*I hit them one last time, seeing Tavyil’s physical form begin to crack*

Me: This one is for Karp, who you killed, Nyil.

*I hit them again, the fractures spreaking and widening*

Me: This one is for Geere, who Saven killed.

*I hit them again, the cracks in their body widening*

Me: And this one is for the current children, who you almost killed like the rest.

*I smash them against the wall, their whole body cracking, revealing a glowing energy*

*I teleport a football field’s length away from the homestead*

*The sound of the homestead exploding rings throughout the neighborhood. The ground shakes and grass is ripped from the ground. Helmgate forms a protective shield around me as I scream for the tamagotchis inside of it. The surrounding area is sucked into the black hole created by Tavyil exploding. As the black hole collapses in on itself, it re-explodes, leaving only a small, shaking, and crying Nyorotchi on the ground. Helmgate dissipates from around me and I run up to the Nyorotchi*

Me: TAMA! TAMA! I’m so glad you’re okay...

Tama: Uugh...

Me: Wh... where are...

Tama: Cain...

Me: WHERE ARE THEY?

Tama: Cain... I’m so sorry... I didn’t...

Me: NO! NO! GOD DAMNIT NO!

*Helmgate forms a gauntlet around my fist and I punch a tree. It goes ailing off into the sunset.*

Tama: Cain I’m sorry...

Me: It’s my fault. It’s all my fault... They died... I have to go see them in the Starry Pavilion. Please... Please let them be there...

*I stand up tall and allow my soul to fly off into the Pavilion. I see all my previous tamagotchis huddled around a television screen, displaying Tama*

Me: Were you all... watching that?

A Tamagotchi: Yes Cain. You were so brave!

All Tamagotchis: Yes! SO Brave! Cain Excelle-

Me: NO!!! Where are they? Cent? Halle?? Sella??? Corrine????

*One tamagotchi points to a corner where I see the souls of the four tamagotchis*

Me: Kids... Kids I’m so so-

Cent: Don’t bother. 

Me: What?

Cent: Don’t bother apologizing.

Me: ... I see...

Cent: We already forgive you.

Me: What? But how? I let you all die...

Cent: No, we died because we messed up at a critical moment. It wasn’t your fault. Don’t get down on yourself now Cain. 

Corrine: Yeah, Cain. We still love you. We still care.

Sella: Group hug!

Halle: Sella I don’t thi- OOF!

*Sella grabs us all into a hug*

Me: Guys... I... I love you all...

*I wrap my arms around them and squeeze them. I feel my soul and body reunite as I sob into my hands.*

Tama: Let’s go find another homestead. We need to settle down.

Tama: And Cain?

Me: Wh-what?

Tama: I cannot thank you enough.

Me: Tama it’s so hard...

Tama: Cain! It has been THREE MONTHS! We need to get back on our feet before the magic fades from this homestead completely. At this point it could be hanging on by a thread.

Me: Maybe it should fa-

Tama: NO! I refuse to allow you to be self depreciating.

Me: ...Okay.

Tama: No- Wait what? Okay? You... agree with me?

Me: Yes, Tama. Yes I do. We need to keep ourselves alive.

*I stand up*

Me: Tomorrow, we start anew. We must keep this magic alive.

Me: Oh, and I have a surprise for you, Tama.

Me: I really fouled up with Tavyil. This is how I'll make it up.

*from behind my back I pull out an angelgotch toy*

Me: Tama, I can put your spirit in here so you can live as a normal Tamagotchi again. We could be more connected...

Tama: Cain... That’s... so sweet...

Me: Do you accept?

Tama: Yes. Yes I do. Tomorrow, we work.

Me: Deal. And maybe...

*I glance at my white v5*

*We bust down the door and see the vortex emitting energy.*

*I shoot a blast of yellow light into the heart of the portal. Nothing happens at first, but suddenly the whole portal begins pulsating. It explodes, and out comes...*

Me: TAMA... Wait no... Savyil? What the hell is happening?

Tavyil: gGGRAHAHhhhhHHHH!

Me: Oh my god is this some kind of amalgam? Like... Tavyil? Eew, what happened to you? Why do you two look like you’ve melted into each other?

Me: Are you... Pfft... Arguing with yourself?

*All the tamagotchis arm themselves*

Me: Pffft AHAHAHH

*Tavyil shoots a beam that switches between red and blue. It hits me and I fly backwards*

Me: Okay what the hell is with this split personality? Why can’t you two just.. merge or something? it’s creepy.

*Tavyil shoots another read and blue blast my way*

Me: I’m gonna deflect it! HYAAAAA-huh?

*My body absorbs the blast and I feel myself be rejuvenated*

Me: Ta...ma? Wait... Is that why it’s dual colored?

Cent: AHA!

Me: What is it Cent?

Cent: If it hits you when it’s red...

Sella: OH! That must be when it hurts you!

Corrine: Then blue would mean healing...

*The floor in front of me explodes, blowing me backwards*

Me: TAMAGOTCHIS! FULL SPEED AHEAD! 

*Cent summons Helmgate from in her soul. Corrine and Sella pick up pokers from the fireplace and prepare magical attacks. Halle reaches into her soul and conjures golden kunai knives*

Me: Whoah... Halle? You have Weaponization?

Halle: I... uh... I guess I do?

Me: Nice. Let’s go.

*I summon my own Helmgate as I charge forward, giving Tavyil a few slashes before jumping backwards. I look back and see all the Tamagotchis struggling to deflect Tavyil’s attacks.*

Me: Tama... I know you’re in there... Why did you sacri-

*I deflect an attack*

Me: -fice yourself for me? For us? WHY? GRAAH!

Writing really long battle heavy logs are not easy. Tomorrow night is my best estimate. Sorry for the long ass wait. Just know that Corrine is on perma-pause until that episode comes out.

So far I’ve got like 2/3 of it done. I have to write a pre battle, battle, and psot battle morning/marriage scene. So far I’m in the middle of battle, which is the longest.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Okay so...yeah...

You may have noticed that the main group of three (excluding Cent) has been changing a lot. They’ve been dying. Which I suppose in this generation is fine, since I can chalk it up to temporal anomaly. But the thing is they keep dying.

I don’t want to stop logging, that’s for sure, but... These tamagotchis keep dying unexpectedly. Like, the P’s can’t handle 1 hour alone after it wakes up, but can somehow survive 7 hours in my bag. They die so unexpectedly and I just get really angry and sad whenever they do.

So here’s the game plan. Next episode will be the big battle against Tavyil, and I”m keeping the deaths as they are (P’s, coffret P’s, AND iDL 15th Anni [yes, I failed my longest lving.]). I’m probably then going to switch around my Tamagotchis. Maybe use some older Connections, since those seem to be more resilient. Who knows, I cold bring back some old friends.

Anyway, I wanted to tell you all the state of things and how sad it is. Don’t worry though, regularly scheduled uploads as far as I can see. It’s just that I only have one surviving tamagotchi now. Uugh.
