That is cool I do like that concept of the eggs having some kind of effect besides a "new ending" which would be dumb, but I always thought that the eggs would cause some sort of issue, see PS4 achievements "beat x chapter without issue" that does not trigger if you get the egg.

we are encroaching on what could be the most hazardous time for deltarune fans. Toby fox stated on the games steam page that he's shooting for a 2027 release date for chapter 6.
and that means one thing. We've spent 8 years with deltarune, reading into the foreshadowing, and now its time to pay it off.
Toby cant just keep foreshadowing events that "might"" happen or "will" happen. now they actually have to happen. we are going to get an actual ending to the game, and whatever is in that game, because text, becomes canon.
and I know, that people are going to be PISSED. there is literally no way that Toby can wrap up this game in 2 chapters, and satisfy EVERYONE. someone's favorite character is going to get left in the dust, someone's otp isn't going to happen ingame, Ralsei might not trans their gender, GASTER MIGHT NOT EVEN SHOW UP. there is going to be wasted potential NO MATTER WHAT happens, and the best we can do is prepare for that inevitability.
either way, if the fandom crashes and burns, it will be very, very interesting to watch happen.

How can Asgore parade the dark fountains creators body around town to prove he was right if they turn to dust? I mean he still could it would just look a little weird. Also I see monsters dust more like cremating. There is no confirmation that monsters are made of magic in deltarunes universe.
Where were monster teen and snowy during the festival? Weren't they investigating the bunker?

I love deltarune and then I go on tumblr and I see people say a bunch of stupid shit on tumblr like amalgamknight theory makes more sense than dess knight.

I don't doubt that deltarune is gonna have a "happy ending" but we already had a story where absolutely everyone was saved, its called Undertale. I am genuinly going to be upset if the ending isnt a least a little bittersweet.
and the moral of the story is, if you hold onto the past tight enough, and reject all change, everything will stay the same and you will always be happy :)

it looks like the official name for the weird route is "Side B" according to who IM ASSUMING is Gaster. wonder if anyone is actually gonna call it that. us deltarune fans, stuck in our ways.
ALSO: Undertale's genocide route could be aborted at any time, and it would become a neutral playthrough, with small adjustments. Deltarune Chapter 5's Side B can also be aborted, and FOR THE MOST PART, everything goes as normal, but berdly is still in the hospital, and noelle still has the thorn ring.
even if you aborted the route in chapter 4, noelle still won't ride the ferris wheel with kris.
Ralsei is happy to see that kris is okay.
Susie has extra dialogue if you choose to hang with her at the onsen, where she says she thought kris and noelle were dating. she acknowledges their wet hair and faraway demeanor. she asks if she's just getting in the way of their thing. you can make kris tell susie "don't get in the way of me and noelle", and they throw themselves into the water to stop themselves from saying it.
this isn't over. chapter 6 WILL have a Side B. an alternate route to an alternate route.
ALSO I FORGOT TO SAY THAT FOR SOME FUCKING REASON after the dark world Kris decides to grab a balloon. why. is it the whimsy. did they want to go to the festival?
been thinking about some people saying "why can't they just bring the flowers back to castle town"
flower being "asgore's college roomate" I originally thought to mean flowery was mimicking a human asgore knew in life, but it is way more obvious that asgore just brought the flower with him to college. kinda embarrassed I didn't think of that. (actually why are the flowers trying to be human anyway? whats the significance of that?
then, how did he keep it alive for so long? supposedly, the flowers are supposed to die in a single day. asgore has kept them alive for longer than asriel has been alive which is like 20+ years?
since flowers aren't objects, when they enter the dark world they gain a consciousness, perhaps one unlike a normal darkner, that can watch the world around them, like tenna (also asgore's tv is screen down, maybe kris didnt want to risk another tv guy) maybe if you took a flower out of its dark world, its consciousness would die but the plant itself would stay alive? would bringing them to castle town revive them as someone else?
is asgore's dark world special in this way? asgore's affinity for flowers allows flowers to come to life? flowery says he can't go to castle town, and I would take him as the expert here. he says the fun gang should keep either asgore's fountain and seal castle towns, or seal asgore's fountain and kill all the flowers.
also I believe that the end scene where all the flowers turn back into their light world flower forms is them literally dying. or I read it that way feel free to say otherwise.
AND THE BIG REASON: FLOWERS CAN'T SURVIVE WITHOUT SUNLIGHT. DARK WORLD = NO SUN. they don't stop being flowers just because they are in the dark world. and I imagine they were under glass for a reason. some flowers are just really that fragile.
are the actual darkners from flower kingdom returning in the next chapters? I was going to say it would make no sense but that still is asgore's shit so they can't just take that.
it would be kinda funny if ralsei just completely fucking lied because he hated flowery that much.
