I think Toriel is gonna get tired of Kris’s bullshit in chapter 6 and the real reason the chapter is short is bc she’s gonna ground their ass big time for coming home late every night since Thursday and accidentally ignoring her calls

Funny to me Toriel is the main plot instigator for the later Chapters. Chapter 3- Her being kidnapped leads to Tenna's whole game and death and The Knight Fight Chapter 4- Her seemigly being at the church forces you to fight the Knight multiple times and the Titan, meeting Gerson and then seeing all those actions led to nothing Chapter 5- Asgore's whole Flower Kingdom and issues are partly due to his falling out with Toriel (well technically Toriel's falling out with Asgore but still)

And the funniest part she's completely unware. Ch3-She's sleeping on the chair unware of the Knight or Tenna Ch4-She's getting drunk with Sans Ch5-She's at the festival and chilling out. While all the choas is happening.
