Heartbreak is...

It's sitting on the sofa and having an empty space next to you where they used to sit and hold your hold, it's the empty passenger seat in the car where you used to listen to music together, it's the fact that you can't text them when something happens because they aren't there for you anymore, it's walking past a place and realising you can't go there with them anymore, it's realising you've lost your best friend.... And last of all... It's realising that you'll be walking alone one day happy and suddenly that heartbreak hits you, your heart sinks. Heartbreak feels like that person you love has died, but they haven't left the world, they've just chosen to leave your life.
