Percy Jackson series was so fucking funny bc in Titan’s Curse’ Athena was like  “I dont approve of your relationship with my daughter” to 13 year old Percy Jackson and Percy was like “Oh ok” and then proceeded to dance with annabeth at the party right after on olympus and continued to pine after annabeth for the next 3 years  and THEN in The Last Olympian Athena told percy to stay away from her daughter and percy was like “lol ok” then confessed his feelings to annabeth and kissed her the DAY after. Percy Jackson legit gave no fucks and i love that for him

Beginning and ending of each Percy Jackson + HOO book(because i’m a nerd):

PJO:BOTL: The last thing I wanted to do on my summer break was blow up another school. -  “Come inside for cake and ice cream,” I said. “It sounds like we’ve got a lot to talk about.” 

PJO:LO: The end of the world started when a pegasus landed on the hood of my car. - She took off down Half-Blood Hill and I sprinted after her. For once, I didn’t look back.

HOO:LH: JASON- Even before he got electrocuted, Jason was having a rotten day. - JASON: “Percy Jackson is at the other camp, and he probably doesn’t even remember who he is.” 

HOO: SON: PERCY- The snake-haired ladies were starting to annoy Percy. - PERCY-  “Come on,” he said. “Let me introduce you to my other friends.”

HOO: MOA: ANNABETH- Until she met the exploding statue, Annabeth thought she was prepared for anything. - LEO-  “Festus, raise the sails. We’ve got some friends to save.”

HOO: HOH: HAZEL- During the third attack, Hazel almost ate a boulder. - PERCY - “Bob says hello,” he told the stars. The Argo II sailed into the night. 

HOO:BOO: JASON - Jason hated being old. - LEO - Leo spurred Festus into flight. The bronze dragon spread his wings, and they soared into the unknown.
