I agree with you there's a lot of case by case variation in appearance vs age around puberty, but anyway, I have to note that the outsider doesn't have stubble or facial hair. Like are you saying he grew to basically adult height and girth at 15 but somehow sprouted no facial hair? Or that he shaved very carefully... While living on the street

I have 360 hours on dishonored, 80 on dishonored 2 and 60 on death of the outsider (but like you said he doesn't talk much about his age in that game). nice screenshot there. it's almost as if you had to pick and choose that information then put it together for your own headcanon. 1: I know it's on the wiki page. 2. Yes, yes it is. 3. I have read his wiki page several times. I have to say it's not as good as playing the games thoroughly and repeatedly. How many hours of gameplay do you have on the three games, out of curiosity?

alright i'm not within reach of my steam library but my estimates would say i have about 70 hours in dishonored 2 and maybe half as much in death of the outsider, but this doesn't really mean anything. the outsider is hardly in either one, even the game that he's named after. and in both if them he barely says anything about himself.i am so very sorry that a wiki page could not keep your attention span for long enough to read more than the first paragraph, but my screenshot is only formatted like that for dramatic effect. the second or third sentence on the outsider's wiki page says that he was 15 when he was killed. did you skip over that, or are you just ignoring it?

what sticks out to me most is that, just like how people use one (1) typo in The Corroded Man as evidence that Wyman is male, you're ignoring all the characterisation, backstory, interactions with the PC, not to mention voice performance, that clearly mark the Outsider as having experienced at least an adult's worth of life experience during his thousands of years observing humanity

i just do this to annoy pedophiles and make them uncomfortable with the fact that they refuse to acknowledge the outsider’s age, i literally have no further goals except to reiterate his age in my own art and fics later on. that’s it.

although i do love this fantasy world you live in where libraries have sections for fanfiction, i’ve never seen that at barnes & noble

hey hi! Sorry if this is something you've addressed before, but in the most recent novel (The Return of Daud), it seems they've retconned the Outsider's original age and left it ambiguous. I'm not really sure what to make of it, what do you think?

the dishonored game series is primarily that: a game series. i don’t take novels to be 100% canon unless their events are mentioned explicitly in the games. retconning something like a character’s age is never going to fly for me anyway.

if you introduce a character who is fifteen and never make it clear that the character ages, they will remain fifteen. the outsider can’t change his appearance and was fifteen when he died, making him still fifteen. i’ll only accept him being older in canon if it’s a timeskip after he’s given his humanity back, but if he’s still a god, then the outsider is a teenager.
