AN : Very quick Christmas imagine for you guys! You can think of it as a part two for âTaking the Angels to Churchâ
-
âI canât believe this.â You blinked as you stood at the end of the stairs in your fatherâs house, dressed in your newly bought Christmas pajamas. Sitting around the tree, sat three angels of the lord, Satan himself, and your father stood directly behind the bunch, arms crossed over his chest.
âMerry Christmas!â The angels all said in unison. You blinked again.
âDonât act so scandalized, love. Weâre here to celebrate. Weâll be good.â Balthazar put his hand up as if making an oath. âNow, come and give us a hug.â He approached you with open arms, wrapping you up tightly. âWe found out from the Winchesterâs that you took off on your little trip without us, so we thought weâd surprise you.â He whispered, only for you to hear. âSurprise.â
âBal-â You started, but were quickly cut off.
â(Y/n), why didnât you tell me you had a boyfriend?â Your father asked, eyebrow raised at the sight of you and Balthazar.
âBoyfriend?â Your voice was muffled in the angelâs sweater.
âOh, sheâs always trying to keep our relationship a secret, the sly little minx.â Balthazar kept your face buried in his chest so that you couldnât object to his statements.
âBalthazar, you idiot.â Lucifer grumbled.
â(Y/n) and Balthazar are not involved.â Castiel clarified with a stern nod.
âThen these are all your.. friends?â Your father gestured to the boys with distaste clear on his face.
âIs that a problem?â Lucifer was the first to pick up on your fatherâs tone.
âIs it?â Your father snapped.
âOkay!â Gabriel suddenly jumped in before the conversation could get anymore heated, running to you and placing a Santa hat upon your head. âWhat do you say you show us to your room, huh?â Gabe suggested.
âGreat idea.â You uttered, rubbing your eyes in exhaustion.
-
âWhatâs his problem?â Gabriel asked once you were in the privacy of your bedroom. You sighed, sitting down on the edge of your bed, resting your head in your hands.
âI told you guys not to come here.â You mumbled.
â(Y/n)?â Castiel sat down next to you, a worried expression on his face.
âMy father is complicated, to say the least. He doesnât approve of the way I live, you know, with the Winchesters and with you guys.â You tried explaining. âHeâs made it his mission to make my life as hard as possible, so that hopefully, Iâll feel bad for going out on my own and Iâll come back home to stay.â
âThen why are you here?â Lucifer asked the question on everyoneâs mind.
âHeâs family and I love him.â You shrugged. âNo matter how hard he makes things for me, I canât leave him on his own.â
âYouâve been around those Winchesters for far too long.â Lucifer commented and you laughed a bit.
Gabriel let out a long sigh, sitting down on the other side of you and wrapping an arm around your shoulder. âMerry Christmas, (Y/n).â He slipped a small box into your lap and you furrowed your brows in confusion. âWe all chipped in and picked something nice out for you.â He pecked your cheek and then rested his head on your shoulder as you started to unwrap the gift.
âOh, wow..â You gasped as you opened the box in front of you to reveal a beautiful necklace with your birthstone hanging from a silver chain. âItâs gorgeous. Thank you, guys.â You hugged each of them before putting the chain carefully around your neck.
âNow, letâs go face your devilish father; no offense, Lucy.â Balthazar chirped.
You were smiling softly to yourself as you walked towards your bedroom door when you heard a whisper in your ear. âI have something a little more personal for you once the others place their attention else where.â
