Thanks God, statistics were right again!
You know what is the real beauty of statistics? It is statistically impossible to always have a bad day! ;)
(I promise, I’ll explain it in the following days!)

You know what is the real beauty of statistics? It is statistically impossible to always have a bad day! ;)
(I promise, I’ll explain it in the following days!)
...and how to survive it... (pt2)
Well I can't say enough times, human brain is a beautiful thing! And if you are really feel unable to do something; habits are there to help! (that's why it is so important to make good habits ;) )
Has it ever happened to you, that you get so drunk with your friends, that you felt that you are unable to go home, and the next thing you remember is to try to put your keys into the lock? Or to begin to wash the dishes, and some nice memory of a summer vacation came up, and all of the sudden you realize that you just put the last plate in its place?
I call it autopilot mode. (but if someone else sees me, maybe he or she would call it zombie-mode)
So I really wasn't prepared for this Monday. And I mean _really_. I even turned off my alarm.
You know what happened? I woke up right at the time when my alarm usually rings. I even tried to fall asleep by force, but I couldn't. So I decided to get up.
A good coffee comes in handy even in your darkest hours. And then the disaster happened: THERE WAS NO COFFEE AT HOME!!! (You know, programmers are machines which turns coffee into code... More about it next time!)
What happened next is a thing of a pure logic (or a pure laziness): there are two ways to get coffee quickly: 1.: the coffee machine @ my office 2.: buy some at the local shop
I'm so fortunate that the office was closer.
Next thing I remember that I hold a steamy coffee in my hand, smoking a cigarette in the backyard and listening to stories about my friend who just get back from summer vacation... I can't even recall where he has been. I have only one thing in my mind: "OK, Simeon You did it! You are so f@cking big king!!!"
And the rest of the day I was in zombie-mode.
Conclusion? Nah, not today! A bit of geography, a good habit, my coffee addiction and a big chunk of luck helped me to survive one of the hardest days at work.
The worst day of my life (and how to survive it)
This will be something personal:
You know, there were times in my life when I was quite poor. I hated it! I had time for everything, but there is not so many things to do without spending...
But things begin to change: At the middle of my studies I begin to work (and I’m doing it ever since). And the feeling of being independent was awesome. But like everything else, it has a price: I have around 20 days of free time yearly (let say for holiday) and that’s it. There are periods when I would like to sell my balls just to have 5 more days to spend on vacation :)
But things can change so fast:
At Friday I lost someone I truly love.
Now I have time, I have money and I have no one to share with... It is terrible... Everything is empty. And those 20 days a year (of which only 13 left) seems way too much. It scares the shit out of me to know that I have to spend it all alone.
I really need something which worth to get up for. To make me feel important. Do you think I'm writing this post because of You? Nah. No one ever reads this kind of stuff. I write this to get some kind of motivation. Any kind. To be able to get out of the bed tomorrow, to dress up, go to work, and to continue my life.
Wish me luck!
Weekly status
Week 22:
If you want to be productive, and have brilliant ideas, never forget to take a break, and relax!
Please, be smarter than me!
Just the fact itself that you sleep enough, leads to higher productivity.
And trust me: there is a productivity spiral: if you are productive, means you will finish your tasks faster, thus you will have more time, so you can think about how to make you life easier and relax even more, and one day you will wake up, and feel that in your head there is the most brilliant idea in the history of mankind!
Look at successful people around you! Are they always tired? Stressed? Impatient? Of course NOT!
Lately, I'm working too much, sleeping 4-5 hours a day, and I'm always stressed. And at the end of the day, I wonder "Why I didn't came up with an original idea since weeks?"...
It is time to change it! This weekend I will sleep long, put away the work for a bit, will not check my emails, and just try to care less about things I can't change anyway!...
Try this recipe! Maybe it will help you too! ;)

Weekly status:
Definitely need to live longer!!!
Time is money
When someone says “time is money” always remember that the opposite relation is also true: now I want free time more than anything else, but right now, I don't have enough money to work less...

Fun Fact Statistics
Maybe I should speed up the income... Or live longer :-D
Weekly Status: 150$ week17 April
This is my first “weekly status report”. Later I will make a better breakdown of my income, but for now I will just write down how I generated it:
100$ : no magic here: every month I will save this amount for a #howtomakeamilliondollars project. (This is more like a psychical preparation. More than that I WILL NOT TOUCH this saving until I reach a million dollars!)
50$ : I have a friend who knows exactly how fanatic I can be when I want to reach my goals and I’m capable of doing (nearly) impossible things. I spoke with him about my plans, and at one moment he told me:
“OK, when you will have 1M$ and live on a seaside, I will support you with 50$ if I can visit you for a week or two with my girlfriend.”
“Hahaha, you know, when I will have one million, I will not need another fifty ;) ”
“How about this? If You reach 10% of your goal, I will give you 50$ and when you buy your house, we will visit you! Deal?”
“Deal! Can we write this down?”
And so, I got my first investor and he got (as he said) the cheapest seaside holiday of his life!
Today, on the way back from work, I had a nice talk with one of my colleagues. He reminded me of a story I already heard, but almost forgot about.
Listen to me carefully: You should reach your fist million on fair and honest way! And I strongly discourage you to do anything illegal but remember, if you run low on money, you can sell the Eiffel tower. Twice...
Steve jobs
I have just watched 3 films about Steve Jobs.
You know, I never was a big fan of Apple products. But now I’m truly amazed, how could a man like him build a multi-billion dollar company…
Anyway, I have a good news for you:
You can be a good man and a millionaire at the same time!
And the films are: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2080374 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4425064 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2357129
Ben Pasternak, 15, made one of the world's favourite Apps while 'bored at school', now he could join Zuckerberg at Facebook and has investment offers which 'would buy two new Ferraris'
He is much younger than most of us, but he definitely does something right ;)
Congrats!
