NEW TRAILER HERE WE GO (repost from hoyolab)

the tsaritsa: the tsaritsa completely MET expectations, it follows genshins kinda boring design repetition (revealing in cold weather, disconnected sleeves, short skirt) but her lore, color choice, and overall silhouette are still well done even if she does feel like any other genshin character. shes pretty decent even if im a bit disappointed in the lack of intimidation factor, as much as i like the gentle vibe i think some intimidating outer layers would go hard in a how she portrays herself vs how she is type beat (really wish we got a big beautiful coat on the shoulders) but we win some we lose some. in any case shes gorgeous and im pulling 100%

The men: genshin finally realizing how much of their fanbase LOVES men was not my expectation but a pleasant surprise (ts was not on my bingo card) who i pull will probably be pretty gameplay based but considering how much i love flins the tall men are probably going to end up on my roster

Pantalone: i do hope they update his in game model because it felt very old to me in the archon quest but im pulling either way, his ideology, his connection to dottore his hatred of the gods despite working for one mwah chefs kiss

Lore: i think the conflict between loyalty and rebellion is so interesting because we only really saw it in inazuma and imo it could've been handled better (or at least in a more interesting way) so im very excited to see what happens when those 2 groups clash, Im VERY excited about the story (much more than i was for nod krai where the characters individually were the main appeal) because it seems like the characters wont all get along and there will actually be interesting conflict beyond the "we r all friends and fight big bad guy" of natlan and nodkrai

final thoughts: my expectations are high for lore, low for future designs considering every single female character had the same detached sleeves and short skirt, but despite this i am optimistic overall, especially since there may actually be some evil fatui action i hope. (with columbina in nod krai) im also hoping that the harbingers will have interesting interactions among themselves.
