The Three Tomes : Episode 2 Kickstarter campaign has ended (Late Pledges are still on)

Thank you everyone who supported the campaign, whether it was with a share, a pledge, fanart, yelling to the high heavens. Thank you. Meant to share this yesterday. But truly thank you everyone. As I mentioned, late pledges are still on. You can still pledge to the kickstarter and help push us finacially further, for funding ...especially since we technically only hit 2 stretch goals not 3. Unfortunately a -pledge was cancelled last minute but stuff happens and that's understandable. So if you're able you can continue to Support The Three Tomes, and push us even to episode 3 if you're able. But still. Thank you everyone. It means so much to me and the team.

If you're just starting to watch/play/read Twisted Wonderland and you aren't...feeling it during Heartslabyul chapter, my advice is to be patient. The writers clearly decided in what direction they wanted to take the story and the characters AFTER the first chapter. Things get better from that point forward.

Plus, you'll be one step closer to chapter four. And that's the cooest one. I love Scarabia. Peak TWST right there. Did I mention how cool chapter four is? Scarabia scarabia scarabia scara—

It's wild to watch the phrase "tumblr sexyman" morph into "man that tumblr thinks is sexy," because when I first saw the phrase come into use, I always saw it used in reference to the phenomenon of "when presented with a wide array of fictional characters, tumblr will always pick the skinny white man to obsess over, and if the fan-favorite character has no canonical human appearance, the fandom will inevitably create a popular fanon of the character as as a skinny white man."

When I hear "tumblr sexyman," I think of Cecil Night Vale being constantly depicted as a skinny white man instead of literally anything else. I think of the background character white men who get elevated over protagonists that are women, people of color, or otherwise not the white man power fantasy.

"Tumblr sexyman" is, like. An insult. I DON'T want any of my blorbos to win a "tumblr sexyman" poll. "Tumblr sexyman" is the exact opposite of what I want my own OCs to be. If any of my characters ever get called "tumblr sexyman," I will have to immediately re-evaluate myself and the art I'm making.

every year small towns and indigenous communities across canada are burnt to nothing by horrific wildfires and americans go on the internet to complain about it and blame us bc the smoke has spread to their state. i’m so tired.

go yell at mark carney or your own local politicians about climate change and urge them to do more to stop it. the namaygoosisagagun first nation had their community destroyed today. you can find a link to donate to them here. donate to your local food bank. go to the beach next week when the smoke clears and you don’t have to think about it anymore while the people who’s lives have been destroyed will have to pick up the pieces and try to move forward when we are already in a huge cost of living crisis across the country.
