We wrap up our last weeks and fest, with four amazing pairs featuring the rough and soft sides of love, either it be new, old, full or empty and carrying what can be found but never lost.
Title: Magic that Lingers
Creator: lemonfractals aka @wqtson
In which the Minister’s best Unspeakable, Harry Potter, never gets asked to work on a difficult and dangerous case with his childhood rival. At no point in this story does he absorb a very mysterious magical residue that drains his magical core. He never develops any sort of dream link that causes him to share his nightmare-turned-vaguely-intimate-dreams with anyone, and he certainly never begins to find Draco Malfoy attractive… … or does he?
Title: Finding my way to you
A routine spell check gone wrong. A series of events that feel somewhat off, and yet familiar.

Creator: @the-fools-errand
Sub-theme: Old
Rating: Mature
Word count: 55,219
Summary:
When a run-of-the-mill investigation turns up evidence that the Death Eaters may be resurfacing, Harry seems to be the only one who believes Malfoy has anything to do with it. Yet according to official records, he’s been the poster child for the Ministry’s post-war Rehabilitation program, living in a small muggle town in Wales.
It’s obvious that he’s guilty of something, but a Malfoy that rides a bike and reads poetry is not exactly what Harry had been picturing all these years.

Subtheme: Full
Rating: Explicit
Word count: 26, 561
Summary:
It's 2009. Unspeakable Hermione Lovegood is well-adjusted and happily married. She regularly gets coffee with Draco, Luna, and Harry (when it's not a school day). Her work is both intellectually stimulating and low-pressure, which is exactly what one could want after surviving a war. Apart from some unhealed wounds, she couldn't ask for a better life.
That is, until the Unspeakables receive a cursed artefact, which gets sent straight to Hermione to be studied. It's ancient. It's full of hatred. It's hungry.
And it'll do anything to get what it wants.
