All it does is elevate one person by putting all the others down, and that's not very good for a community. Having favorites is fine! Putting others' portrayals down to compliment another isn't. That's all! Honestly, the "best" portrayal of the characters is JKR's.
Well, I'm sorry if I might sound like a jerk again, but I kinda felt like it was what you meant, so I'm sorry. And I shall repeat what I've already said: I can't change what someone thinks about X or Y, and I won't censor anyone on what they want to express except for hate. What I'm trying to do here is to maintain a place where people can love others and feel loved. People getting hate everyday isn't very good for a community, and yet that's what happens, and I don't see anyone fighting against it.I'm trying my best, but if you think you can do a better job, please, feel free to do another blog like this. I'm tired of being told about what to do or not here, in my main blog, where things could easily be fixed only by unfollowing.
( I just want to thank you for supporting the fact that people can have favorites. It seems that people want to make so many rules about spreading love that it makes it almost impossible to do so. I'm glad that you recognize that. Also, I just want to love on you again for making this blog. You're seriously so lovely. I've seen a thousand of these blogs go inactive after like one day, && I'm glad you're sticking around. )
First, thanks you so much for sending this! It's really nice to get some feedback on what I'm doing, and especially coming from my first follower. I think you are one of the nicest people here, not to mention that you are always open to everybody and you do your best to help everyone, and that's the example this fandom, but mostly the rp 'world' needs.And now, about the other part, I understand where that anon came from, and I know that this 'competition' hurts sometimes, and I wish I could do something to make this less than a bother to some, but like I said, I can't stop people from admiring person A or person B. All I can do is encourage people to send messages to people they care about and admire. I couldn't agree more with you about the rules, because if I stated that, for example, the words best or favorite couldn't be used, I'd be censoring people. Of course that I won't post any kind of hate, but except for that, I want this to be a place for EVERYONE to express their feelings about other people, and that shall include all the Lunas, Hermiones, Snapes, etc.Luckily, I haven't got any hate here so far, and I hope it won't happen at all. I've got shoutouts here that I personally don't agree, and I still posted them, and I also got messages I was dying to add 'omg this person is amazing' but my persona here is to be as impartial as possible.
