Even the best wizards are prejudiced against muggles -- look at the worst insult Hagrid can think to throw at the Dursleys.  Low key feel like there’s a lesson there.

I forget way too often that the dursleys really did abuse Dudley.  we have canon evidence that Vernon “hit him round the head” and honestly it seems to me like they’re constantly flipping between “our son is the best thing to happen to this earth” and screaming at him.

Okay please don’t talk to me about how abusive the Dursleys were I cannot even express how inappropriate their treatment of harry was and yet no one?? did?? a thing???
