Unfinished Stories

To all of you wondering if I have abandoned my stories, the answer is no.

However, I haven't felt like writing or reading fanfiction for a while now and I honestly don't know when I'll update again.  As it is, I don't think I'll be writing anymore fanfic when these two stories are done.  I just don't have it in me anymore.  I'm not an avid TV watcher and I don't really follow any series so I don't have any pairings that inspire me anymore.  Glee was over for me at the end of the third season when Quinn basically disappeared and it just wasn't the same anymore.  I stopped watching then and even though I still come up with ideas for her and Santana, I just don't have the desire to write them out anymore.  Same goes for Harry Potter. 

This is the worst writer's block I've ever experienced and I don't know what to do to get out of this writing funk.  I have replaced fanfiction with lesbian romance novels and I love them so much I can't seem to stop reading them so that is where all of my free time goes.  It’s my escape from reality, if you will.

So I apologize if this is disappointing to some of you.  I know I have some great followers that truly seem to enjoy my work, but I've said it before and I'll say it again: writing is not something I can force, it has to come naturally to me.

I know it’s taken a while, but here’s chapter 5.

As to why it’s taken a while, well, I’ve been staying away from fanfiction for a little while.  Both reading and writing.  I’ve been reading a lot of lesbian romance fiction and finding wonderful new authors. 

You guys should check out all of the books by Melissa Brayden.  She is amazing! I just can’t get enough of her writing.  I’ve read the first two books of her Soho Loft trilogy twice and can’t wait for the last one coming out next month. She is definitely my favorite author right now.

My dream is to someday publish my own original work, so I’ve been reading a lot to see if my stuff has the caliber to be accepted at a publishing house that caters to the LGBT community. 

I think my days writing fanfiction might be coming to an end since I’ve sort of lost the inspiration for it, especially now that the HP movies are done and Glee is finally over.  We’ll see how it goes.  I will finish all of my stories, though, so no worries there.

Story feedback

I just wanted to say thank you for the reviews so far.  I love reading what you have to say and I hear you.  I understand why some of you are upset with Santana’s behavior.  She’s not being totally fair right now, that’s a given.

I really love the support and how invested some of you are in the story.  As I read your reviews more ideas pop into my head and I’ve already gone back to several chapters to change or add things.  Your comments, ideas and reactions feed my mind and my muse reacts accordingly.  So thank you so much for that.  I really never expected how invested some of you are and I hope I don’t disappoint you too much as the story moves along.

You’re all pretty damn great and I appreciate all of you so, so much!

Love Me

To the people that have left guest reviews for the last chapter of Love Me and the rest of the story, I really wish I could thank you individually for the comments, but since I can’t, I’ll do it here.

Reviews mean a lot to writers.  Some of us do this as a hobby, others as an escape, others to fix the things they might find wrong with their favorite shows and books, and others just because they love to write.

I do it for all of those reasons and more.  I really love writing and coming up with love stories.  I love to share my work with all of you and thankfully, most of you seem to like the worlds I create.  While there is the occasional reviewer that has something negative to say, most of you are just really nice and amazing.

So know that I appreciate every single review, the good ones and the not so good ones, and I thank you for taking the time to leave a few words.

Love Me That's All I Ask Of You

Hi guys! Long time, right? I got sick right between Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Since, I've had acute bronchitis three times. Had to go to the ER once and missed a shitload of work. I've basically been sick most of this time and I'm still playing catch up. I functioned to go to work and come home and crash. I had no desire to do much and that included writing. But since it seems the most awful, persistent cough in the world has decided to stop ruining my existence, I'm recovering my strength and feeling half human again. I've started writing what will be the last chapter of Love Me. 😳 I know most of you were expecting more chapters but at this point it feels like the story has come full circle. The last chapter will tie up lose ends and leave the door open for a possible sequel should I ever feel inclined to continue it. I've got about 1,300 words written so far so I hope to finish it and post it soon. I hope you will see their journey to the end with me. It really has been a pleasure writing this story. I just love Quinntana so much! See you all soon!

Love Me latest update on FF

Hi guys!  Happy New Year to all of you.

I was just informed by one of the readers that the latest chapter of Love Me was removed from the story.  I actually clicked on the link I had posted on here last night and I got the same error message.

I checked my account on FF and the chapter is there.  So I didn't remove it but there seems to be an issue with it.  I had the same occur to me earlier today when I clicked on a link of a story I'm following. 

For those of you that haven't read it, please be patient.  I hope the issue is resolved soon.
