The Hanging Tree by Peter Hollens except you swear that you can hear a ghostly chorus singing it to the accompaniment of wind whistling through the branches of the old tree that sits atop the infamous Hangman’s Hill. You stop for a moment, entranced, but then quicken your step because local legend has it that the ghosts of those who met their end in that tree still haunt the hill, and they will kill anyone who linger there past midnight - particularly, on an October night like tonight. And the village clocktower up ahead is ticking the seconds down.

Classical music, but your hearing it from a serial killers basement.

description available below (contains spoilers) Happy Halloween everybody!

you wake up in a basement, it's dark, cold and damp. you cant see anything but there is a faint sound that you can't make out seeping through the walls. your hear the heavy metal door open and the sound drifts in, someone is playing a piano like instrument upstairs, but you don't recognize it or know it's name.  the door closes but the sound continues to hum through the walls.  footsteps descend the stairs drawing near, suddenly they stop.  you hear the faint ring of something metal being picked up from a stone surface.  the unseen figure steps closer, you hear the sickening rip flesh tearing as a blinding pain takes over your senses.  as all the blood drains from your body they turn and walk away as slowly as they came, ascending the stairs and heaving open the large steel door.  all you can hear is the music through the walls.

Alastor sings Radio Star Ringtones

here are some sound clips I took from the HuniCast on Saturday where Alastor’s voice actors sing Video Killed the Radio Star, I put them to music so they could be used as ringtones.

I know this has been going around the fandom a lot and for a while, but here are some reasons why I think Alastor and Charlie are brother and sister:

1: Family resemblance, he looks like here dad (satan)

2: Power Levels, Alastor simply manifested in hell with unprecedented abilities immediately following his death.

3: The Shadows, both Alastor and Satan posses semi-independent shadow being that look like them, just more animalistic in nature

Charlie’s dad’s:

Alastor’s:

3.5: not only does Alastor have a living shadow but he hides it around Charlie when they meet and when it does show up he immediately dispells it, even though he and it seem to get along just fine.

4: He’s uncharacteristically harmless, Charlie slams the door in his face the second they meet and Alastor remains perfectly calm and docile even though he clearly has no regard for the power structure of hell and has killed over much less.  Yet he’s perfectly respectful towards Charlie.

I’ll add more in a later post. Also, this is just a head cannon that I enjoy, it’s not gonna bother me if you disagree and I’m not hating on any shippers because I could be wrong. so ya know, you do you.

Steam-powered TARDIS

I was watching a youtube video on the industrial revolution for school and the host waved around a picture of a train from 1800 and a model TARDIS shouting that they were both most likely powered by steam engines and at first I was indignant because the TARDIS is supposed to be powered by the Eye of Harmony but then I realized that the star “suspended in a perpetual state of decay” might just be a really big fire used to heat water the create power and now that idea will stick in my mind forever.
