Hey, everyone! So Zay, Yaz, and I (Adiba) have been gone for months, we know, and we’re so sorry to leave everyone hanging. We’ve been struggling with mental health and school so we took some time off from the network and Tumblr in general. Anyway, we still love this network and are committed to bringing it back especially with the end of this school year nearing! Now, we know that everyone’s got busy schedules just like us and so we won’t be the typical network. Instead, we’ll feature the below:
a discord group chat: we just wanna have fun!!! this is a space for us to connect and come together!
a partnership with @pocpotterweek: instead of having an event every few weeks, once in awhile when I set this up with @swearwolflupin (although Emily is on hiatus, I’m still working with her on it) we’re inviting the net to join! It’s no pressure at all, but we hope pocpotterweek becomes much better because of this partnership.
In the meantime, we’ll be an awesome squad!! Depending on interest level, events aren’t out of the question, but considering how long we took to do applications, don’t count on it.
And now, for the moment you’ve all been waiting for, members! Since it’s been so long, please let us know if you’re still interested. Once again, we’re sorry about how incredibly late this is but we’re so excited to have all of you!

It’s that time again of the year again! Well no we didn’t mean time to mourn James and Lily Potter but we can see why you’d think that. POC!Potter Week returns Oct 1-7! This week we’ll be trying something a little different and partnering with the @hpwocnetwork to bring you: WOC!Potter Week. We’re so excited to be working with them. We hope you enjoy this new theme style as much as we do.
HOW IT WORKS;
Reblog this post if you’re participating, and send us an ask so we can add you to the page!
In the ask, give us your name + a one to two line description of yourself or a short quote you like.
If you’ve participated previously, you’ll still be featured in both participants sections.
If you’re not participating, tagging it as signal boost would be helpful. That way we’ll know who’s who.

Fanart/Gifsets/Edits/Aesthetics: The fancast should be POC! Mixed race and white-passing counts, if anyone was wondering, and so do Jewish fancasts!
Fanfic: Make sure to describe their appearance or have them do something that makes it clear they’re poc: (for example, have the character use a second language, have them study a language for their culture, etc.)
Playlists: The fancast in the cover should be POC or a song should be in a different language/talk about being POC!

Women of Color
Due to the nature of the @hpwocnetwork we decided that choosing one cohesive theme that would relate to our week and their net would be important so there won’t be daily themes this time, only the one
We encourage creators to make multiple edits of woc! Think outside the box! Here is a guideline you can follow, but since the general theme of this week is woc, we won’t be tagging posts by theme. Feel free to do these out of order or to throw in different ideas of your own:

5-Favorite Role Model (this one is where you pick a character that isn’t necessarily like in positions of authority, like a professor, but is someone who can be looked up to!)
6-Favorite Quote (this one is a bit unique! you can have the quote either be an hp quote or a quote from a woc!)
7-Free Choice Day
important note: the focus of this week is the women of the hp universe so men will only be accepted if you are portraying a ship in your creation. that being said, we encourage you to fancast your characters as members of the LGBT+ community so as to include more diversity
