I’m expecting it to be a bloodbath if I’m being completely honest. I needed someone to show me the ropes a bit, I’ve never been in charge of something like this before so who better to ask than someone from NYADA?

Well, you weren’t wrong about that. I feel like some girls are still fighting over this. If NYADA has taught me anything, it’s that we’ll survive any kind of backstage drama these kids might throw at us, no matter how extreme. That place was intense. Like, one of my classmates once refused to talk to me or do any assignments together for an entire month, just because I got to play Frankie Valli in NYADA’s production of Jersey Boys, and he got an ensemble part. I bet he would’ve gone on for much longer if Madam Tibideaux hadn’t told him to get over himself. But anyway -- you’ve been doing amazing so far, Quinn! You should be proud of yourself. And if it helps, I’m definitely more used to being on stage than directing others too. But we’ve got this.

I don’t not know a lot about cars.…and I’m a pretty fast learner. Also really good at pretending I know stuff. Been pretending to know how to dance ever since I joined Duly Noted this semester. But..you probably knew that.

STEVIE: I mean, I know, I know, I'm a sophomore and I'll have plenty of time to worry over the next few years but with Stacey & my determination combined we kinda take the term "laser focus" from cat toy into Tron territory.

BLAINE: Well, for what it's worth: I've got plenty of experience with both, and although this is the most cliché thing I could say, I'm still going to say it - you'll be fine. It's all going to be fine, and you're gonna figure it out.

Why does everyone insist I should take these poor, lost souls on shopping trips? I cannot spend every waking moment being the Fairy Gaymother to every girl at this school who thought the closure of Charlotte Rousse was the end of fashion. I am not Jonathan Van Ness. I do not have his power. 

I thought of all people I know, you, an Elder Gay, would have had a suitable answer to this question. 

I’m not saying it’s something you should do on a regular basis, but if you’re that bothered by her outfit, I don’t think it would hurt to step into Tan France’s shoes for a couple of hours.

Like I’ve always said… “Never try to complete with the power of ABBA. It’s truly IS the biggest shame we never got to do ABBA week when we were in the New Directions, I could have killed the Mamma Mia soundtrack and that’s a fact.

As long as she didn’t say anything embarrassing about me then we are all good. I mean I always love hearing embarrassing stories and it can’t top the time at our wedding so….I guess it is what it is.

I mean just imagine if I pulled a few strings and got your mom to teach just one glee class. I would die of laughter with her in charge of 15 teenagers.

I know! It would have been so much fun. I mean, I did get to sing Mamma Mia with the New Directions in my Senior year, but an entire week would have been so much better, especially if you and everyone else were still around.

Who knows what she said. I’m still not sure if I should be relieved or concerned that I wasn’t around in the small time she was there. And can we please never talk about that particular moment again? 

Yeah... no. No. Let’s be honest, that’s a recipe for disaster. She might know how to run a company, but I’m about 99% sure that there will be complete and utter chaos if you put her in charge of 15 teenagers. The damage would probably be irreversible.

Googling “How to nicely tell someone they need to size up their jeans” is hopeless; it’s just a bunch of babies on reddit telling me it’s mean to comment on other people’s clothes. (Which, I don’t really get. It’s not like you made the clothes; you just chose to buy them in a size 6 instead of the 8 you obviously need.) I’ll just never understand it. You’re not a size six, babe. Stop trying to be something you’re not. It’s punishing those of us with eyeballs who have to stare at your muffin top and… dare I say it - buttcrack all throughout fourth period!  Can anyone chime in on some effective tactics here?

As much as I appreciate honesty, I do think it would be a bit mean if you said it that way. Maybe you could invite them to go shopping sometime instead, and subtly show them some better fitting options? Who knows, maybe they're just not sure what kind of clothes fit their body type. It’s also possible that they just like wearing clothes that are a little tight, though, and if that’s the case, I’m afraid there’s not much you can do.
