Rejection-based/RSD Affirmations
self Now as many people who struggle with issues with rejection know, this problem is very annoying and can be debilitating in social situations and relationships. The following is a list of affirmations meant to assist/ combat the feelings of inferiority, shame, and awkwardness that these thought patterns can often bring. I hope these are helpful and ease some of this discomfort.
I know my truth, and that is what matters.
I am allowed to be proud of my talents, regardless of what others say.
My interests are valid, and I am allowed to be passionate and excited about them.
I am lovable, even if some people do not like me.
I do not have to apologize for being authentically me
People disagreeing with me does not mean that my opinions or perspective is invalid.
I am likable
I am strong
I am worthy of the time and attention of others.
I do not have to apologize for my feelings
I do not have to apologize for my hobbies and passions
I do not have to apologize for having needs
I do not need to apologize for my feelings
I have value, just as I am
I am allowed to have and voice my opinions and thoughts.
I don’t have to be liked by everyone to be happy.
I didn’t do anything wrong.
I am allowed to make mistakes.
I am worthy of respect
Even if some people don’t like me, that doesn’t mean there is something wrong with me.
I hope these are helpful to whoever needs them. You are valid you are lovable and you don’t have to act like anyone else to be worthy of love or attention. You can get through this, I am proud of you.
