In June this year, I completed the 3000 modern dragons bred achievement. I had set up 15 plentiful pairs that I rotated on a daily basis, giving me a nest to hatch every day. I mostly did it so Iwould have a steady stream of fodder dragons but it eventually led me to finish the final modern breeding achievement.

Next goal: work on the breeding ancients achievements. I have the 5/25 achievements already. I decided to use my same system of hatching a nest a day, so now I have 40 new ancient pairs that will be used.

Numbers per year:

2022: 54 snakes (59 snakes w/ store pets) 2023: 66 snakes (70 snakes w/ store pets) 2024: 35 snakes (36 snakes w/ special release) 2025: 85 snakes 2026: 23 snakes so far

A grand total of 263 snakes so far (or 273 snakes if you count the store pets and UR snake). 2024 was the lowest so far with only 35 regular snakes. 2025 was the highest so far with 85 snakes; fitting considering 2025 was year of the snake. 2026 will be increasing this month as we have a snake litter.

I think I finally hit the point where I want to start saving gems to buy the UR Snake on CS. For those who don't play CS, UR pets (unreleased pets) are a very rare pet you can get from the December 18th gift boxes (three boxes you get a total of three pets that are rare and have a chance of being extremely valuable). The UR pets generally end up being extremely valuable due to how rare they are.

The snake especially seems to be a popular design so it is going for ~30H which I believe is around 24,000+ gems. Can I do it? I don't know. But I think it would be nice to get not only all of the normal snakes, but also the store snakes (which should be significantly easier) and the UR snake.

Without counting the UR snake and store snakes, I am down to 60 snakes left. If I add on the UR and store snakes, I have 68 snakes left to go.

this has been pushed to the bottom of my priority list. right now, priorities are as follows:

buy missing fams (not going for ks/downtime/sprites currently, so just bears and bosses left)

trade for remaining valentine's day pets (6 left! might be cs, might be fr cross-trade... we'll see how it goes)

get projects done

stop buying eggs/g1s and save up for ur snake

the new crepe game is so cute and it is making me consider making a dragon w/o lore a crepe maker. it's awkward trying to think around how jobs like that would exist in my lore since the area where the lore takes place is trying to recover from war. sometimes, though, you just need a nice crepe as a break from everything.

down to two tabs for migrating from postimg to imgbb. one is my jjba tab that has 26 dragons and my oc/self-insert tab with 9 dragons so i'm pretty close to being done. then after that it will be a matter of adding alt text to everything, too. my main priority was fixing images so i could play iktr again; adding alt text will be later bc that is going to take significantly longer.

the new gene is so pretty. it's making me want extra terts now... imagine being able to have a second tertiary gene. i know it is a suggestion (quaternary gene, I think?) and it would be so cool to see it implemented.
