next time that troll pemdas graphic goes viral and everyone's dunking on each other for being bad at math just remember nobody is "right" because they're just guessing what some bad graphic designer's inconsistent spacing meant.
stop reinforcing the idea that math is frustratingly hard and if you don’t get it you should feel bad. professionals use calculators for silly basic things all the time, it’s okay not to remember everything all the time. math students shouldn’t take these troll problems as something to worry about generally. unless, of course, you rewrite it as “3+4/100″ and still get it wrong after eliminating white space. then it’s important to revisit pemdas.

Launching a new generative NFT on fxhash today!

💎 css crystals update. 🔜 fxhash!
I’m now limiting the background’s options for saturation and luminance to a set of predefined values rather than it being a continuous range. Hope to launch either on Thanksgiving or the day after. Ideally it will be available to play with before mint. This will be minted as a collaboration between my verified account and alt identity again to ensure visibility and trust in potential collectors.

Throwing more media at the wall. er... blog*
Throwing a whole lot of variety up here! These are all my creative works from either very recent (unless dated otherwise). I just now finished editing this little 360 video clip. I recorded it during the summer as I skateboarded around town.
I am very passionate about 360 video/photo documentation. While I mostly use it to photograph events and art installations I do take time to capture some action and fun. 🛹
This was shot on a gopro max 360 camera with a third party housing. I have scratched too many 360 cams in my years so I was extra safe here. Given the bit of lens fog and a stitch issue I now generally avoid using the housing.
For an extra-tall version check out my post on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@eatpoopart/video/7167988165859347755
Starting off this curated selection of the firebrand generative flame collection are these early mints, numbered 🔥 002, 010, 003, and 020.

This technique was achieved by utilizing a prerecorded video of a fire then applying generative VFX with Blender3D. Thanks to Blender’s built-in scripting it was possible to manipulate numerous parameters with a bit of code, generating hundreds of options.
The final outputs are all .gif files at 420x666 pixels.
This was a test collection to practice the many aspects of creating one and I’m happy with how it tuned out. The hurdles I had faced got leapt over.
experimenting with a new htmlcss-based project about crystals
I was considering modeling it off reality but looking at this table on wikipedia has me feeling a bit encumbered. Might just apply artistic liberty and make something crystal-like in form.

tweet tweeting away
I’m on the move away from twitter. I hope we can make tumblr or other social media sites a bit more popping. Actually, I’m sure they already are I just want to connect with all my friends and colleagues on these new platforms. And if the market stays mostly on twitter I’m still happy to forge new territory here and beyond. While I will continue to tweet and use the service my focus is to connect mainly elsewhere.
Besides my disappointment in twitter, I recognize it’s good to connect with people on multiple platforms in case something happens on one of their accounts (whether the platform goes down or the user gets hacked or they just leave). Plus, each platform offers something unique so it’s great to see what people can do elsewhere. Tumblr’s HTML input is rather exciting for me, inspiring me with some fun ideas!
I decided to see what dalle2 would generate for some silly phrases and nicknames, here I test out the classic “Honey Bear” 😊

Here’s another view of how artificial gravity affects the trajectory of objects.
This demo features a particle emitter standing in artificial gravity. It shoots particles in many directions. The astronaut is floating in static space.
When we share the astronaut’s point of view we see the trajectory of the particles moves in straight lines. As we switch to rotate with the artificial gravity floor we can see the particles are no longer moving in a straight path but curving along an arc.
Created 2019 in Blender 3D.
Have you ever wonder what artificial gravity would actually be like?
Depending on your point of view the path a tossed object takes may appear straight or as an arc.
This is due to the object wanting to travel in a straight line per classical physics. The direction of your upward toss adds with the sideways movement of your rotation, resulting in a diagonal trajectory.
In this demonstration the astronaut is floating in a stationary position. The tube that shoots the sphere is sitting in an artificial gravity centrifuge. I've highlighted both paths in this animation. Notice how they always meet at the object.

Okay so this is going to be my main profile on tumblr. The multiple blogs feature is a bit odd, it’s not like user switching so likes/etc will end up showing as this account anyway.
