I’m on the move away from twitter. I hope we can make tumblr or other social media sites a bit more popping. Actually, I’m sure they already are I just want to connect with all my friends and colleagues on these new platforms. And if the market stays mostly on twitter I’m still happy to forge new territory here and beyond. While I will continue to tweet and use the service my focus is to connect mainly elsewhere.
Besides my disappointment in twitter, I recognize it’s good to connect with people on multiple platforms in case something happens on one of their accounts (whether the platform goes down or the user gets hacked or they just leave). Plus, each platform offers something unique so it’s great to see what people can do elsewhere. Tumblr’s HTML input is rather exciting for me, inspiring me with some fun ideas!
You know what’s funny? Accounts that are brand new knowing about who FreePavarotti is enough to message them and get likes and responses when the rest of us who suffered through years of trying to decipher this code being ignored. Funny enough though Pavarren doesn’t mind leaving his breadcrumbs behind in cryptic poetic tweets about making people believe lies and liking tweets from gay poets about loving yourself.
These spot the difference games are getting too obvious.
