katelynn was never one to be up so early; usually she ended up sleeping in until the mid-day. however, here she was, sitting at a table for two at nine o’clock in the morning, with a journal and pencil in hand. CJ’s was her favorite restaurant in town, and not just because it was the only restaurant in town. A small sigh absent-mindedly escaped her lips, as she tapped the end of the pencil against the table. “Why is this so hard…” she mumbled to herself, not paying any attention to those around her.
raja wasn’t an early bird in the means of waking up early every morning, but he was definitely an early bird in the means of staying up all night and continuing to be awake until about noon, when he usually passed out on the couch in his living room. thus, he found himself sitting alone in a quaint restaurant not far from his home at nine in the morning. he’d been sipping on black coffee for an hour but was still dozing in and out of a light sleep. when he heard a voice from the booth behind him, part of him thought he may have been in a dream. “what is?” he questioned quietly, almost mumbled, less than half-awake and barely coherent.
