Yakumo could hardly bare to look at Edmond, lest he reveal the ever darkening blush on his cheeks.

Oh..! Hm.. Alright.

Yakumo smiled a bit, reaching for a chocolate chip muffin. He much preferred watching others enjoy his sweets, over tasting them himself. Edmond was right, though — as he often was. It was only fair for Yakumo to enjoy one as well.

He bit into it with a gentle sigh, the chocolate chips melting into his tongue. It held just the right amount of sweetness, and he found himself closing his eyes to truly enjoy the flavors on his tongue.

Just as Yakumo took a bite of his muffin, Edmond had followed suit. There was a small ‘nom’ coming from the vice-captain’s lips as he bit into the soft muffin. So soft, so warm. The right amount of flavour, too. The corners of his mouth tipped upwards as he savoured the baked sweet.

Ah, as delicious as always. Your recipes never fail to amaze me.

As he complimented the baker, his icy blue hues travelled to the other man — where he saw that he wasn’t looking at him. A confused knit of his brows took place on his forehead.

To see such a sweet, shy smile on Olivine’s face - it would melt anyone’s heart, really ! He was such a sweetheart to many, someone so endearing and kind, and giving too. They were many traits that the Vice-Captain loved in someone; but it was a stronger pull of feelings when it was Oli. Edmond strived to learn more, and to see the priest in various other ways… some more lewd than not. Outwardly, he would comment on how scandalous it was to have such thoughts. But inwardly? To himself? He wanted to explore and see it all for himself.

With a nod, Edmond led Olivine into the mansion. The warmer contrast from being outside was a welcome one. Not that he minded the colder air from outside, but it was nice to be in a heated area too. As the two men strolled through the building, and up the stairs, Edmond offered a small wave or two to passing clan members that were inside as well.

They were before his bedroom door not too long later. With his free hand, he twisted the doorknob and opened the door. His head turned to the priest and gestures for him to enter, his softer smile having not faded in the slightest. It was different; he wasn’t something who smiled much. But with Olivine? Well, there was a reason to smile.

Olivine's mind was absolutely racing as they traveled to Edmond's room in the mansion, almost too distracted to wave to the passerby's-- if Edmond hadn't done so, Oli would've certainly let his tunnel vision on the knight take priority. The hand in his own, the way Edmond's ponytail gently swished behind him as he lead, even down to the faint sweetness stuck to his clothes. It was almost too much to bear, truly...but Olivine knew if he were to get closer, he'd have to stay calm; collected.

Upon arriving in Edmond's room, it's rather unsurprising how neat and clean it is! There are certainly little bits and pieces that make it certainly belong to the knight, however; a holster for one of his swords, a porcelain tea set placed on a low table, and possibly the cutest of them all: a little blue bunny plush, neatly propped up on the windowsill. Breathe, Oli. I don't think Edmond would take kindly to sudden cuteness aggression...

While watching Olivine take in the sight of his bedroom, he can’t help but gently chuckle at the expression on his face. Not many people really came into Edmond’s bedroom, to be fair. Eiden did when he was wanted to spend time with him, and Garu has broken into the room before while trying to escape the “doomed fate” that was bathtime. To see the priest in awe was absolutely endearing to see. Soft features and all, and shimmering eyes that paired so beautifully with his face. And his fine, olivine green hair. It looked so soft. How Edmond wanted to run his hands though it.

Upon hearing Olivine’s question, Edmond quickly snapped out of his fixated adroration of the other man to response to his query. Eyes now flickering around the room, his icy hues landed on his bed. That was a perfect spot, at least to him.

Would you care to join me on my bed, My Holiness? I’m sure that it would be quite comfortable for the two of us.

Edmond moved ahead to stride towards his bed. As he moved to sit down, the knight patted the space beside him.

You offered me your bench to sit on. I believe it’s only fair that I share my bed with you this time. Perhaps then, we could … pick up where we left off?

It takes mere seconds for Olivine's face to light up with blush; obviously, brightly, completely filling his cheeks at the connotations of Edmond's words. Did he...really want this? For Olivine to sit beside him, for their lips to meet again, and again, and again...the priest actually stumbles a bit as he stands, but does his best to act like it was nothing. Inside, however, he could feel his desires slowly but surely rising, crawling up into his throat and causing his words to squeak out as he speaks.

I...I would, Sir Edmond. I'd like that a lot, actually...thank you!

Olivine doesn't hesitate any longer, but does make sure to remove his shoes before walking towards the knight (he's got fuzzy little socks on, with a kitty face on the front and tiny paws printed on the bottom, too cute!). The way Edmond looked up at him with such icy, yet comforting eyes...the soft gaze and warm smile he received as he neared. Olivine was taking every little detail in, straight to his heart, as if Edmond had physically removed his filter with his own hands. Gently, he sat down next to the knight, scooching up to his side and placing his clearly nervous face against his shoulder, brushing his hair up against Edmond's cheek.

Ahh...it certainly feels nice in here, compared to outside...the privacy is much appreciated, too. I can't help but...want to get closer with you, my knight...

At first, Edmond is feeling a touch of doubt about Olivine wishing to continue what they’ve started before outside. He could completely understand if the mood had changed or was over ; never would he pressure him to continue! But that doubt is quick to wash away as the priest take off his shoes — revealing the absolutely adorable cat pattern he had on his socks! Edmond wanted to melt there and then; could Olivine get any more cuter?! The green-haired man’s actions prompt the knight to take off his boots - a bit more hurriedly than he wanted it to be! - revealing simple, long white-and-black socks.

He watched as Olivine sat beside him on the bed, his heart beginning to pound wildly like a drum out of time with the song’s initial beat as Olivine’s head was rested on the knight’s shoulder. That green hair gently tickled itself across his cheek, earning a wobbly smile from him. Edmond didn’t expect Olivine to do such a thing. But it didn’t bother him; it made the knight think of the sweet priest as a rabbit. With said priest’s confession, Edmond’s cheeks began to burn. He had felt the same way! He didn’t think that Olivine would be the first to say so, however,

You — You do? My goodness. I … I happen to desire the same, my sweet priest. Behind closed doors is much of a more preferred setting too, I must say. We wouldn’t have to worry about being interrupted by … onlookers.

It seems that beginning to admit this out in the open was starting to unlock something within Edmond. His head swooped down to the priest’s forehead, and pressed a soft kiss on the skin. Gentle eyes started to become clouded with desire. Intimate desire, to have his body on top of Olivine’s. Was he also feeling this, too?

I want you in a way that is much more than gentle affection. To be closer with you by… breaking the barriers of clothing we have in the way. I desire you. I yearn for you. I crave you.

Edmond's words made Olivine's eyes widen, the blush on his face deepening to the max as he looks up into the other's icy, yet warm gaze. The way the knight looked at him was something he'd seen before-- but never imagined it'd ever meet Edmond's stunning features. It was then when Olivine truly connected all the pieces together, and was finally able to say yes, Edmond did want him. Just as badly as Oli wanted him right back, to feel how much the knight truly craved him.

E-edmond...truly? You really mean that, my dear...?

It was barely another second of hesitation before Olivine let his own desires take control, hand drifting up to Edmond's cheek before crashing his lips into the other's. Olivine shuddered needily as it happened, barely failing to stifle his moan into the the knight's lips, letting his body sink forward into his. It was completely desperate the way Olivine took Edmond's bottom lip into his mouth to tug at it as he ended the brief, yet incredibly passionate kiss, panting heavily as half-lidded eyes met the knight's once again.

F-forgive me, my love...you need yearn no longer. You have me, however you'd like me. Please, E-edmond...I need you, please...

Edmond’s words are interrupted by the crashing of their lips together. A soft gasp is first to leave the knight at the sudden dance their lips shared with one another. But in the same breath, his arms found themselves wrapping around Olivine like it was second nature. His left arm wrapped itself around the priest’s torso to keep him close. His right, on the back of Olivine’s head. Against his own beating chest, he can hear the other man’s just faintly. A grunt, followed by a low, deep moan came from the knight as the priest tugged at his bottom lip. To let him inside. And Edmond would’ve! But, the kiss had parted before he could, and it left the two in a panting mess. Once wide eyes became half lidded as he looked at the other man against him.

There’s no need for apologies, Oli… my light. I … I need you too. I want you, Olivine. I…

Struggling to find the words to describe such a feeling yo describe how much he had wanted him, Edmond pulled the green-haired man into another kiss. This time rougher. Passionate. His tongue poked itself out to brush against Olivine’s lips in an attempt to test the waters. The hand once against his cheek was now moving to unbutton Olivine’s top. For a brief moment, Edmond retracted his lips to speak once more.

You’re as stunning as an angel, my star. Though…. haah… I’d love to see how breathtaking your body is… without these pesky clothes in the way.

The second kiss evicted a well-earned whine from Olivine's lips. Feeling Edmond's hands rush to unbutton his shirt was...certainly surprising, but only fueled his desires further. Paired with Edmond's own begging, it was simply impossible to resist-- not that he'd want to, of course. Not one bit.

As Edmond popped open the buttons from top to bottom, Olivine untucked his shirt from his slacks and met him in the middle to finish the job. Immediately upon opening his shirt, the knight would be greeted by the handmade piercings and chains underneath, swaying gently on their release. Though Edmond had seen them once before, it was far from a setting like this one; private, almost secretive. Just the two of them, Olivine's body an art piece for only the knight to adore.

The blush on Olivine's cheeks only intensified; the colder air of their shared space caused his nipples to harden almost immediately, and the embarrassment of Edmond seeing him like this...was certainly still there, despite how obvious their attractions were.

The piercings and chains swaying so smoothly against Olivine’s torso had Edmond’s eyes in a headlock. His gaze fixated on how perfectly the jewelry suited the priest’s body. How gemstones and silver meshed so beautifully with Olivine’s flesh and his, now hardened, nipples. It was if the priest was a statue meant to be looked at and touched.

How Edmond wanted to touch such a blessed body like Olivine’s even more.

The Vice-Captain removed his gloves instantly. Roughly. Just so that he could touch the warm skin himself. A hand found itself slowly approaching the priest’s chest area, and in not a moment less, squeezing his left nipple gently without a second thought. The other hand slid down a couple centimetres onto a part of the chain of his jewelry.

After his warning — albeit, he didn’t exactly state what he was warning Olivine of doing —, Edmond gave the chain under the other man’s nipple a soft tug downward . The idea of having such a feeling on his own chest made a shiver go down Edmond’s back, his own nipples hardening at the sight. At the thought.

Initially enraptured within a light novel that he had found in Aster’a library, Edmond’s attention was drawn to the letter that was slid under his door. His curiosity had made him quick to pick up the letter and read it over, his eyes widening at the note’s contents. His cheeks pinkened lightly at the nickname that caught his eyes at first before reading on. Oh, what a sucker he was for sweets. He loved taking a bite into various pastries and the such, and assessing it. Plus, the floral scent of the ink smelled lovely. With a hum, Edmond delicately placed the letter onto his nightstand and went to leave his room.

And down he went, the knight’s footfalls thumping down the stairs to arrive to the kitchen. His boots weren’t always the quietest, unfortunately — especially with his quite the manor could be. That wasn’t an issue, was it? No, it had to have been fine. Back on topic, however, Edmond sauntered into kitchen.

Chidori only turns to look at hearing Edmond's voice-- despite hearing eeevery single footstep of his down the stairs. The little click-clack of his boots was just too cute! And Edmond's lightly pink cheeks were even cuter. What put that color on his cheeks in the first place? The fox could easily pry it out of him, but chose to act peaceful instead.

I'm makin' fruit tarts! There was lots of fruit on the verge of going bad, so I'm trying out some different flavors. Sit down, sugar! I'll make you a nice variety plate. Want some tea, too? ♡

Edmond’s eyes shined as Chidori said that he was making fruit tarts. Oh, he hasn’t had those in a while. They were a lovely spring snack for the knight, and he did in fact crave the taste of them once more. Listening to their offer to sit down, Edmond took a seat on the nearby kitchen chair, his back straightening. Never would there be a day where he’d be caught with poor posture.

Tea would be be lovely, thank you. Are you sure you’d want to make it? I wouldn’t want to make you far too busy.

His eyebrows furrowed in mild concern. The vice captain didn’t want to bother Chidori with too many things at once. That was ungentlemanly.

But yes, fruit tarts… It’s been a while since the mansion’s had them, hasn’t it? I’m sure that the ones you’ll be making will be exquisite.

With a wave of his hand, a bundle of pink flames comes to life on one of the stove's burners, a pot of water already sitting right on top. Why not just...use the stove...? No matter, Chidori's sliding puffy pink oven mitts over his clawed hands, and pulling a tray out from the oven-- the smell of baked fruit and buttery crust immediately floods the kitchen. The fox picks up a big metal bowl and the whisk sitting beside it, swirling it around, before placing a healthy dollop of fresh whipped cream on top of each one.

You're too sweet to me, sugar! I have a feeling you'll like 'em lots. I even bought the cuuutest little sugar cubes for your tea! I think you'll be quite fond of 'em, hehe...~

Something about his voice was...slightly unsettling, but oops! You were distracted, and now the table's fully set. There's already tea made, somehow, and Chidori's pouring a cup with a soft smile on his face; much softer than you'd expect from him. He pours his own cup and sits across from Edmond, pushing a tiny plate of...bunny shaped sugar cubes right next to his cup. They're tinged slightly blue, too!

The nicknames that Chidori had been addressing him with was making Edmond’s heart stammer over a beat or two. They were adorable, don’t get him wrong! But they were also directed to him. And that made Edmond’s cheeks redden even more. He doesn’t have time to comment on it, however, as he was entranced by the way the pink fox yōkai had moved around the kitchen. It was elegant in his eyes; whether it was simply his adoration for the other man or his non-human species, he wasn’t sure.

Edmond didn’t even catch onto the unsettling tone coming from Chidori as his eyes fixated on the four fruit tarts that were before him, dolloped with whipped cream that hid the flavour from the naked eye. And the little faintly blue sugar cubes shaped like rabbits? Oh, they were adorable. Looking up from his plate, the knight flashed the fox a gentle, warm smile.

That’s not a problem, I’m sure that I could figure it out. Thank you, Chidori. It looks absolutely lovely.

And that man did not waste any time on eating a fruit tarts. With a gloved hand, Edmond picked up a tart and took a bite. The mildly sweet flavour of the whipped cream complimented the texture and taste of the crust. And the filling! Was that—?

Mmn, strawberry. I’m fairly certain that it’s strawberry… and raspberry too. It’s — , sho sho good. Chidori, you never fail to amaze me.

While Edmond wasn’t one who talked with his mouth full, he couldn’t help himself from another bite! The taste was absolutely delightful!

It was as if Chidori couldn't handle his excitement, fox tail starting to lightly flutter at Edmond's compliments. After washing his hands and rinsing his dishes, he pulls out a chair across from the knight and pours himself a cup of tea. No sugar, no cream, just tea, in a dainty little cup that matched the rest of the fox's tea set, adorned with gold edges and lotus flowers.

Yes, yes! Strawberries and raspberries are a good combo, if you know how to balance 'em. I'm glad you tasted the strawberry first~ That's always what gets overpowered!

Chidori seems incredibly pleased-- possibly happier than Edmond's ever seen him, tail now gently swaying back and forth in pride. He leans his chin forward into his palm, watching the knight enjoy his baked goods with a wide grin on his face, fangs peeking out just barely from under his lip.

There's a citrus one, with oranges and a bit of lemon, a blackberry plum tart, and...ehe! I'll have ya guess what the last one is, sweetie! It's a bit different from the others... ♡

Once finishing the sweet strawberry-raspberry tart, it’s Edmond’s turn to pour himself some of the tea Chidori had prepared. He even plopped in two of the little rabbit sugar cubes! And a small bit of tea, too. He did enjoy the sweeter things in life after all. Lifting the cup to his lips, his eyes half-lidded themselves as a sign of visible enjoyment. Dear gods, it was delicious. The tea complimented itself so well with the tart he had. As he took a sip or two more, those blue eyes of his drifted to the pink fox. Their little fangs that were peeking out a smidge were adorable! It was almost akin to a cat blepping.

A mystery tart of sorts? Hmm, I suppose that I’ll try that one next. I’m not opposed to a little bit of a surprise. The blackberry-plum and citrus tarts also sound lovely.

The knight gently set his teacup down on the table, his eyes shifting to the tart furthest from the right. It had to be the mystery tart. Edmond could see the orange flavouring of the citrus tart peeking out by a sliver of space between the crust and the whipped cream. He also didn’t know which was the other fruit-flavoured tart, so, he was willing to gamble his chances. He lifted the tart with his fingers and led the sweet treat to his mouth. From the outside, it looked delicious! Like a normal tart! But, once he took a bite out of it—

Eugh! Chidori! Is this…. Eggnog?!

— The contents inside were far from fruity sweetness! Edmond’s face scrunched up in disgust as his eyes head darted toward the grinning fox. In an attempt to try and get rid of the taste, he replaced the tart swiftly from his hand with his teacup, and began drinking from it once more.

Despite the wide grin on Chidori's face, it wasn't truly his intention to startle him with the flavor-- who doesn't like eggnog? Well, besides Edmond, apparently...Chidori doesn't reeeally mind, not one bit, but his face turns into a frown at Edmond's reaction. Inside, however, he's practically losing his MIND laughing so hard, sipping at his cup of tea and letting out a fake, disappointed-sounding sigh.

Ohh, sweet little Edmond, are you not a fan of eggnog...? My, I thought everyone liked such a nice, festive flavor...have I been out of the loop for too long?

Chidori's sad little pout is rather convincing, picking up one of the little bunny sugar cubes between his nails and examining it in his hand. There's a strange glint in his eyes as he turns it around, sniffing the air beside it. Strangely, it causes him to shiver, popping the shape into his mouth and letting it dissolve on his tongue.

M'sooo sorry, my sweetest~ I didn't know you didn't like eggnog...

Getting up from his seat, Chidori moseyed around the table and over to Edmond, sliding into a seat MUCH closer to the knight and placing his clawed hand on the arm of his chair.

A shudder of disgust came from the blue-haired man as he spoke, the teacup centimetres away from his mouth. As he concluded his response, his icy eyes took in the sight of the seemingly-saddened, pouty Chidori from across from him.

Oh, Edmond felt awful. Was his response too much? Was this some sort of new recipe that Chidori had been trying out? He didn’t want to discourage him from experimenting! Not at all! And the pout on the fox’s face was really sealing in these feelings of guilt for him.

The Vice-Captain’s rambles were cut off by how close Chidori was to him now. His eyes, which were once following the fox’s figure, stuck on the pink haired being‘a close proximity. His cheeks, a faint red — which only seemed to redden even more at Chidori’s words.

With a grab of the other man’s hand, Edmond pulled himself up from the chair he’d been sitting on in the library.

As he asked Taro what kind of tea leaves he had for tea time, Edmond’s icy blue eyes lingered on the multi-coloured haired man. The tricoloured hair and his opposite coloured ears were eye catching; something that drew the vice captain to Taro.

Taro did have a point, in all honesty. The Vice-Captain did need a break at times. With all the altar regulations, and of course, his own occupation, he was stressful on the young man. The tea party would be relaxing for him, and he did hope it was the same for the yōkai.

Once the two had entered the garden, Edmond’s eyes widened in awe at the scenery before them. The floral scent was the first to waft into his nose, relaying a calming aroma his way. The scene of the elegant tea set and table under the shade of a tea was a sweet sight, too. It was endearing in a, for a lack of better term, cute way.

Paradise is definitely a very … fitting term. Somewhere to get away of one’s worries. The way you’ve arranged the decor is lovely as well.

Turning his head over his shoulder to see Taro, Edmond tilted his head toward the quaint little area in the garden.

A round of deep, breathy chuckles poured from the knight’s lips at the playful flourish of Taro’s actions. How kind, and also endearing, the little calico yōkai was. He adored the playfulness that abounded from him. Returning a similar, lighthearted energy, Edmond gave Taro a small bow.

And there he went, walking over and sitting himself in the chair that the other man had kindly pulled out for him to sit on. His eyes were fixated on the tea pouring, as well as the calm, serene scenery around them. But also, the way Taro was so full of light and life. A perfect sun to his moon, in a way. Upon the mention of tarts, and even the tea, Edmond gave the other man a small nod before picking up a blackberry-flavoured tart. Biting into it, he was met with a perfect mix of a sweet and slightly tart taste. He hummed in delight.

This is delicious, and the tea smells divine. Thank you for putting this together. You didn’t work yourself too hard when setting everything up, did you?

He asked, his other hand lifting up the teacup and sipping the aromatic beverage. For a moment, his eyes closed in satisfaction.

Edmond nods his head curtly at the gesture to enter the apartment. He never had minded mess when it came to one’s home; as long as it was habitable, he was never one to judge someone’s way of living. The so-called “mess” wasn’t that of one in his eyes, either. In fact, the place looked to be quite… home-y.

“You needn’t worry yourself over a mess. I don’t see much of a mess to begin with.” He attempted to reassure you, his smile gentle and kind. His eyes land on the bar stools and love seat. To see such a sweet, shy smile on Olivine’s face - it would melt anyone’s heart, really ! He was such a sweetheart to many, someone so endearing and kind, and giving too. They were many traits that the Vice-Captain loved in someone; but it was a stronger pull of feelings when it was Oli. Edmond strived to learn more, and to see the priest in various other ways… some more lewd than not. Outwardly, he would comment on how scandalous it was to have such thoughts. But inwardly? To himself? He wanted to explore and see it all for himself.

With a nod, Edmond led Olivine into the mansion. The warmer contrast from being outside was a welcome one. Not that he minded the colder air from outside, but it was nice to be in a heated area too. As the two men strolled through the building, and up the stairs, Edmond offered a small wave or two to passing clan members that were inside as well.

Olivine's mind was absolutely racing as they traveled to Edmond's room in the mansion, almost too distracted to wave to the passerby's-- if Edmond hadn't done so, Oli would've certainly let his tunnel vision on the knight take priority. The hand in his own, the way Edmond's ponytail gently swished behind him as he lead, even down to the faint sweetness stuck to his clothes. It was almost too much to bear, truly...but Olivine knew if he were to get closer, he'd have to stay calm; collected.

Upon arriving in Edmond's room, it's rather unsurprising how neat and clean it is! There are certainly little bits and pieces that make it certainly belong to the knight, however; a holster for one of his swords, a porcelain tea set placed on a low table, and possibly the cutest of them all: a little blue bunny plush, neatly propped up on the windowsill. Breathe, Oli. I don't think Edmond would take kindly to sudden cuteness aggression...

While watching Olivine take in the sight of his bedroom, he can’t help but gently chuckle at the expression on his face. Not many people really came into Edmond’s bedroom, to be fair. Eiden did when he was wanted to spend time with him, and Garu has broken into the room before while trying to escape the “doomed fate” that was bathtime. To see the priest in awe was absolutely endearing to see. Soft features and all, and shimmering eyes that paired so beautifully with his face. And his fine, olivine green hair. It looked so soft. How Edmond wanted to run his hands though it.

Upon hearing Olivine’s question, Edmond quickly snapped out of his fixated adroration of the other man to response to his query. Eyes now flickering around the room, his icy hues landed on his bed. That was a perfect spot, at least to him.

Would you care to join me on my bed, My Holiness? I’m sure that it would be quite comfortable for the two of us.

Edmond moved ahead to stride towards his bed. As he moved to sit down, the knight patted the space beside him.

It takes mere seconds for Olivine's face to light up with blush; obviously, brightly, completely filling his cheeks at the connotations of Edmond's words. Did he...really want this? For Olivine to sit beside him, for their lips to meet again, and again, and again...the priest actually stumbles a bit as he stands, but does his best to act like it was nothing. Inside, however, he could feel his desires slowly but surely rising, crawling up into his throat and causing his words to squeak out as he speaks.

Olivine doesn't hesitate any longer, but does make sure to remove his shoes before walking towards the knight (he's got fuzzy little socks on, with a kitty face on the front and tiny paws printed on the bottom, too cute!). The way Edmond looked up at him with such icy, yet comforting eyes...the soft gaze and warm smile he received as he neared. Olivine was taking every little detail in, straight to his heart, as if Edmond had physically removed his filter with his own hands. Gently, he sat down next to the knight, scooching up to his side and placing his clearly nervous face against his shoulder, brushing his hair up against Edmond's cheek.

Ahh...it certainly feels nice in here, compared to outside...the privacy is much appreciated, too. I can't help but...want to get closer with you, my knight...

At first, Edmond is feeling a touch of doubt about Olivine wishing to continue what they’ve started before outside. He could completely understand if the mood had changed or was over ; never would he pressure him to continue! But that doubt is quick to wash away as the priest take off his shoes — revealing the absolutely adorable cat pattern he had on his socks! Edmond wanted to melt there and then; could Olivine get any more cuter?! The green-haired man’s actions prompt the knight to take off his boots - a bit more hurriedly than he wanted it to be! - revealing simple, long white-and-black socks.

He watched as Olivine sat beside him on the bed, his heart beginning to pound wildly like a drum out of time with the song’s initial beat as Olivine’s head was rested on the knight’s shoulder. That green hair gently tickled itself across his cheek, earning a wobbly smile from him. Edmond didn’t expect Olivine to do such a thing. But it didn’t bother him; it made the knight think of the sweet priest as a rabbit. With said priest’s confession, Edmond’s cheeks began to burn. He had felt the same way! He didn’t think that Olivine would be the first to say so, however,

You — You do? My goodness. I … I happen to desire the same, my sweet priest. Behind closed doors is much of a more preferred setting too, I must say. We wouldn’t have to worry about being interrupted by … onlookers.

It seems that beginning to admit this out in the open was starting to unlock something within Edmond. His head swooped down to the priest’s forehead, and pressed a soft kiss on the skin. Gentle eyes started to become clouded with desire. Intimate desire, to have his body on top of Olivine’s. Was he also feeling this, too?

Edmond’s words are interrupted by the crashing of their lips together. A soft gasp is first to leave the knight at the sudden dance their lips shared with one another. But in the same breath, his arms found themselves wrapping around Olivine like it was second nature. His left arm wrapped itself around the priest’s torso to keep him close. His right, on the back of Olivine’s head. Against his own beating chest, he can hear the other man’s just faintly. A grunt, followed by a low, deep moan came from the knight as the priest tugged at his bottom lip. To let him inside. And Edmond would’ve! But, the kiss had parted before he could, and it left the two in a panting mess. Once wide eyes became half lidded as he looked at the other man against him.

Struggling to find the words to describe such a feeling yo describe how much he had wanted him, Edmond pulled the green-haired man into another kiss. This time rougher. Passionate. His tongue poked itself out to brush against Olivine’s lips in an attempt to test the waters. The hand once against his cheek was now moving to unbutton Olivine’s top. For a brief moment, Edmond retracted his lips to speak once more.

Edmond’s eyes widened slightly at the mention of new tea leaves and extra sugar. Forgive his sweet tooth, but he loved sugar, pastries, and the sort. And he had favoured tea, too. And to have such an excited calico yōkai wanting to spend time with him? Well, it would be a lovely setting now, wouldn’t it? With a grab of the other man’s hand, Edmond pulled himself up from the chair he’d been sitting on in the library.

New tea leaves? My, I’m intrigued. What did you gather this time? Peppermint? Chamomile? Some other kind?

As he asked Taro what kind of tea leaves he had for tea time, Edmond’s icy blue eyes lingered on the multi-coloured haired man. The tricoloured hair and his opposite coloured ears were eye catching; something that drew the vice captain to Taro.

Ah, it's something special this time, Vice-Captain! A blend of honey orchid oolong—fragrant, delicate, and just a bit sweet on its own. But with a touch of sugar? It'll be irresistible, I promise! I also brought some rosehip and hibiscus, in case you're in the mood for something floral and refreshing instead.

His eyes gleamed with enthusiasm, almost feline in their intensity. He turned and began leading the way toward the garden, his steps light with energy. Glancing over his shoulder, he added.

Taro did have a point, in all honesty. The Vice-Captain did need a break at times. With all the altar regulations, and of course, his own occupation, he was stressful on the young man. The tea party would be relaxing for him, and he did hope it was the same for the yōkai.

Once the two had entered the garden, Edmond’s eyes widened in awe at the scenery before them. The floral scent was the first to waft into his nose, relaying a calming aroma his way. His curiosity had made him quick to pick up the letter and read it over, his eyes widening at the note’s contents. They were a lovely spring snack for the knight, and he did in fact crave the taste of them once more. His eyebrows furrowed in mild concern. The vice captain didn’t want to bother Chidori with too many things at once. That was ungentlemanly.

With a wave of his hand, a bundle of pink flames comes to life on one of the stove's burners, a pot of water already sitting right on top. Why not just...use the stove...? No matter, Chidori's sliding puffy pink oven mitts over his clawed hands, and pulling a tray out from the oven-- the smell of baked fruit and buttery crust immediately floods the kitchen. The fox picks up a big metal bowl and the whisk sitting beside it, swirling it around, before placing a healthy dollop of fresh whipped cream on top of each one.

You're too sweet to me, sugar! I have a feeling you'll like 'em lots. I even bought the cuuutest little sugar cubes for your tea! I think you'll be quite fond of 'em, hehe...~

Something about his voice was...slightly unsettling, but oops! You were distracted, and now the table's fully set. Four little fruit tarts, each completely masked with whipped cream-- just how the sweetest knight in the land likes it! There's already tea made, somehow, and Chidori's pouring a cup with a soft smile on his face; much softer than you'd expect from him. He pours his own cup and sits across from Edmond, pushing a tiny plate of...bunny shaped sugar cubes right next to his cup. They're tinged slightly blue, too!

And that made Edmond’s cheeks redden even more. He doesn’t have time to comment on it, however, as he was entranced by the way the pink fox yōkai had moved around the kitchen. It was elegant in his eyes; whether it was simply his adoration for the other man or his non-human species, he wasn’t sure.

Edmond didn’t even catch onto the unsettling tone coming from Chidori as his eyes fixated on the four fruit tarts that were before him, dolloped with whipped cream that hid the flavour from the naked eye. And the little faintly blue sugar cubes shaped like rabbits? Oh, they were adorable. Looking up from his plate, the knight flashed the fox a gentle, warm smile.

That’s not a problem, I’m sure that I could figure it out. Thank you, Chidori. It looks absolutely lovely.

And that man did not waste any time on eating a fruit tarts. With a gloved hand, Edmond picked up a tart and took a bite. The mildly sweet flavour of the whipped cream complimented the texture and taste of the crust. And the filling! Was that—?

Mmn, strawberry. I’m fairly certain that it’s strawberry… and raspberry too. It’s — , sho sho good. Chidori, you never fail to amaze me.

While Edmond wasn’t one who talked with his mouth full, he couldn’t help himself from another bite! The taste was absolutely delightful!

After washing his hands and rinsing his dishes, he pulls out a chair across from the knight and pours himself a cup of tea. No sugar, no cream, just tea, in a dainty little cup that matched the rest of the fox's tea set, adorned with gold edges and lotus flowers.

Yes, yes! Strawberries and raspberries are a good combo, if you know how to balance 'em. I'm glad you tasted the strawberry first~ That's always what gets overpowered!

Chidori seems incredibly pleased-- possibly happier than Edmond's ever seen him, tail now gently swaying back and forth in pride. He leans his chin forward into his palm, watching the knight enjoy his baked goods with a wide grin on his face, fangs peeking out just barely from under his lip.

There's a citrus one, with oranges and a bit of lemon, a blackberry plum tart, and...ehe! I'll have ya guess what the last one is, sweetie! It's a bit different from the others... ♡

Once finishing the sweet strawberry-raspberry tart, it’s Edmond’s turn to pour himself some of the tea Chidori had prepared. He even plopped in two of the little rabbit sugar cubes! And a small bit of tea, too. He did enjoy the sweeter things in life after all. Lifting the cup to his lips, his eyes half-lidded themselves as a sign of visible enjoyment. Dear gods, it was delicious. The tea complimented itself so well with the tart he had. As he took a sip or two more, those blue eyes of his drifted to the pink fox. Their little fangs that were peeking out a smidge were adorable! It was almost akin to a cat blepping.

A mystery tart of sorts? Hmm, I suppose that I’ll try that one next. I’m not opposed to a little bit of a surprise. The blackberry-plum and citrus tarts also sound lovely.

The knight gently set his teacup down on the table, his eyes shifting to the tart furthest from the right. It had to be the mystery tart. Edmond could see the orange flavouring of the citrus tart peeking out by a sliver of space between the crust and the whipped cream. He also didn’t know which was the other fruit-flavoured tart, so, he was willing to gamble his chances. He lifted the tart with his fingers and led the sweet treat to his mouth. From the outside, it looked delicious! Like a normal tart! But, once he took a bite out of it—

Eugh! Chidori! Is this…. Eggnog?!

— The contents inside were far from fruity sweetness! Edmond’s face scrunched up in disgust as his eyes head darted toward the grinning fox. In an attempt to try and get rid of the taste, he replaced the tart swiftly from his hand with his teacup, and began drinking from it once more.

Olivine's mind was absolutely racing as they traveled to Edmond's room in the mansion, almost too distracted to wave to the passerby's-- if Edmond hadn't done so, Oli would've certainly let his tunnel vision on the knight take priority. The hand in his own, the way Edmond's ponytail gently swished behind him as he lead, even down to the faint sweetness stuck to his clothes. It was almost too much to bear, truly...but Olivine knew if he were to get closer, he'd have to stay calm; collected.

Upon arriving in Edmond's room, it's rather unsurprising how neat and clean it is! There are certainly little bits and pieces that make it certainly belong to the knight, however; a holster for one of his swords, a porcelain tea set placed on a low table, and possibly the cutest of them all: a little blue bunny plush, neatly propped up on the windowsill. Breathe, Oli. I don't think Edmond would take kindly to sudden cuteness aggression...

While watching Olivine take in the sight of his bedroom, he can’t help but gently chuckle at the expression on his face. Not many people really came into Edmond’s bedroom, to be fair. Eiden did when he was wanted to spend time with him, and Garu has broken into the room before while trying to escape the “doomed fate” that was bathtime. To see the priest in awe was absolutely endearing to see. Soft features and all, and shimmering eyes that paired so beautifully with his face. And his fine, olivine green hair. It looked so soft. How Edmond wanted to run his hands though it.

Upon hearing Olivine’s question, Edmond quickly snapped out of his fixated adroration of the other man to response to his query. Eyes now flickering around the room, his icy hues landed on his bed. That was a perfect spot, at least to him.

Taro did have a point, in all honesty. The Vice-Captain did need a break at times. With all the altar regulations, and of course, his own occupation, he was stressful on the young man. The tea party would be relaxing for him, and he did hope it was the same for the yōkai.
