Brand Glue
The ongoing focus of a brand is to foster interest and drive audience action. We must be focused on the brand attributes that keep people interested and locked in.
On one side we want to create a slippery inbound funnel that leads to conversion and on the other side stickiness.
Once we're able to increase the stickiness of our content, advertising, and design expressions we'll be much more successful in building lasting brand advocacy.
Here's to the glue that keeps your audience tuned in.
Design is intelligence made visible.

Post Industrial Journalism | The Transformation of American Journalism is Here
Our mission is to provide our clients with relevant information on important trends that are impacting their bottom line Occasionally, we run into a resource and or piece of interesting content that is absolutely must-share material.
The Post-Industrial Journalism: Adapting to the Present report by the TOW Center for Digital Journalism at Columbia Journalism School is one of them.
This essay is part survey and part manifesto, one that concerns itself with the practice of journalism and the practices of journalists in the United States. It is not, however, about ‘the future of the news industry,’ both because much of that future is already here and because there is no such thing as the news industry anymore.
There used to be one, held together by the usual things that hold an industry together: similarity of methods among a relatively small and coherent group of businesses, and an inability for anyone outside that group to produce a competitive product. Those conditions no longer hold true.

In 2013, Mobile, Social lead shift from Traditional to Digital.
For traditional media, the picture looks a bit alarming as mobile and social lead marketers to embrace a more digital approach to marketing to consumers.
Traditional mass media once offered marketers the benefit of reach, but now, fragmented and dwindling audiences, as well as comparatively cruder metrics, have led marketers to focus their efforts on digital media. Print media has suffered the greatest loss of interest, with about three in 10 respondents to the October through November 2012 survey expecting their organizations to decrease attention paid to newspapers and consumer magazines in 2013. More than one out of five respondents even expected TV to see decreased attention.
