I've subbed the second episode of this magnificently lovable show! This episode was an interesting translation journey, I hope you'll like it. It goes from crazy to genuinely moving several times. I already loved this show, but translating it has made me appreciate the writing and the acting even more.

Notes:

Kurosawa's language: He uses hyper formal and humble customer service language at all times. I've tried to retain some of it in the translation since it's a running joke and a huge part of his character in this season.

In Japanese rock paper scissors (janken) the winner can hit the loser on the head with a toy hammer and the loser has to guard.

Urusee kuchibiru: Kuchibiru is lips. Urusee can have a million meanings from noisy to annoying to picky to fuck off so it was hard to land on a single translation when the full context of this line isn't yet given.

Isayama: For Levi, that person is Erwin, whose existence exceeds that of Levi’s own. But is it acknowledgment as much as it’s due to the Ackerman bloodline? I would say it’s probably instinctual.

i love having to log out of Tumblr YET AGAIN for the umpteenth time because the amount of hate, drama, chaos and attacking in this fandom is affecting my mindset. again.

guys this is literally a fandom about love, friendship, family, and not giving up. about sticking with the ones you love, finding your true family and fighting every day. can we please, please just stop?

why can't I love all three of them? why can't I love Jared because his positivity and kindness and the AKF campaign have saved my life when I needed it most? why can't I love Jensen for his kindness and support, for his singing and his quotes about fighting for a life worth living? why can't I love Misha for his dorkiness, his GOOD chaotic energy, his love and support, him interacting with fans and voicing his love for us? why can't I love watching Jenmish interact with each other and have it bring me squealing, arm flapping joy? while at the same time having a similar reaction to J2 together? why can't I love all three of these men for their kindness and gentleness and open support of mental health? why can't I focus on the good of these three men who have SAVED MY LIFE repeatedly over the course of 7 years?

why does everything have to be a fight...? this fandom was supposed to be about family. I've met some of the best people ever through this fandom. this show has changed and saved my life. I don't want to log onto a social media platform and into an account I've run for SEVEN YEARS onto all this hate that makes me want to cry. these words and these jabs that make me feel like I might panic or throw up. please...can't we all just get along?!

that all being said...it looks like I'm gonna have to log off again for a bit. I feel like every time I come on after something happens, I have to leave again. my blog is no longer filled with beautiful fanart, amazing photos of the cast that make my heart light up, fantastic headcannons and fics....it's all these things mixed in with neverending arguments, drama, hate, bullying and tearing people down. and it's just hard to deal with. when so many of us came here for an escape from all this...why are we bringing it here too?

No many how much you want to dissect their relationship, you can’t because you don’t know them PERSONALLY.

How many times has Jensen said it’s open to interpretation? If Jared interpreted Cas’ confession as brotherly than let him. If Misha said it’s love than so be it. And if Jensen doesn’t want to put a name on it than great.

From where I stand, Bibros and Hellers aren’t different from each other. Just a bunch of haters/bullies who love shitting on others over people who they don’t even know personally.

Oh and any Misha or Jared or Jensen haters, you guys can just shut up. You don’t even deserve any defense on your part.

When did cockles fandom turn into the j2 hats? You know, the ones you make fun of b/c they’re so deluded and they cross boundaries with the guys all the time?

I am a cockles shipper and I tinhat and squee as much as the next person but taking this stuff into Misha’s mentions? Texting the app he (sometimes) reads? Taking an innocuous statement and deciding to just dump “”affirmations”” of cockles all over the fucking place like you’re talking about fictional characters and not TWO REAL PEOPLE?!?!

There are boundaries to rpf, number one being you don’t take it to them. That’s been stomped all over the past few days.

Another one is remember that you’re only parasocializing with them, that you don’t know them or what they think or who they’re with or how they feel and you sure as fuck don’t know anything for sure about their “relationship”.

Literally everything that people spread around as “”cockles canon”” (which is gross as it is b/c real individual people CANT BE CANON) is all circumstantial at best and literally doesn’t prove anything romantic is happening. At all.

So congratulations new cockles fans, you’re taking a fandom space that was fun and protected and quiet out of respect for the people involved and turning it into toxic j2 shippers part 2.

And before you do don’t come at me like I’m trying to “police” how ppl ship because yeah, I am, I am trying to make y’all see that bringing this to either Jensen or misha is creepy and entitled. They’re not doing any of this “for us” so get off that high horse.

Before you come at me for being a hypocrite b/c I ship cockles- I do ship them and I don’t have a problem with rpf UNTIL it’s brought to the actors, or until people start to feel entitled to that actor’s private life to find proof of their ship. It's safer to assume for some things - particularly personal details that probably very few people pay attention to, unless they are talked about by a big name blog, - that they are going to end up on Twitter.

Just, fucking be sane and watch yourselves. You have details? You have certain receipts? Don't post about them publicly or chat about them with people you don't have 200% trust in. You could draw attention to things most people don't know about. AND THAT IS NOT YOUR PLACE TO DO.

You said, "I know this, and I've been keeping it a secret but, here, NOW YOU CAN KNOW TOO! HERE IS CONFIRMATION OF WHAT PEOPLE HIGHLY SUSPECTED IF THEY KNEW ALL THESE FACTS!
