3. Having little notes all over their apartments/ houses that have song lyrics, quotes, just happy things written on them

4. People love coming for breakfast at their houses because Hufflepuffs are so used to making pancakes in their common room that they excel at them.

5. Always grumpy before breakfast

6. Sometimes stay up all night scanning for internet looking for lost souls that need their help

7. Let there be light. Literally.

8. Having midnight feasts with their cats every Friday and send the remaining food to friends who’ve had bad days.

9. Talk to themselves in the mirror for ages- and have extremely interesting conversations

10. 99% of the time their houses are full of people because they invite literally anyone over.

One Important Reason Why You should be Proud of Being A Hufflepuff

I feel people still tend to overlook Hufflepuffs at some point during their lives, but c'mon - their common room is right next to the KITCHENS, how f**king amazing is that! Imagine if you’re going for a midnight snack run, or going for a brain refuel for an upcoming assignment/test, or simply because you just LOVE food, it’s like right near your common room. I mean you don’t even have yo go far (like other houses) to fulfil your desires, and this is especially important if you’re going after curfew hours, since not everyone have an invisibility cloak (*cough * Harry *cough *). And for those who are either homesick or just want to cook something themselves, there’s no need of the hassle of getting food back to your common room without getting caught by Filch or prefects (or other teachers). And correct me if I’m wrong, but I have never met anyone who doesn’t like food, so coming from a fellow student that was not sorted into Hufflepuff, I’m pretty jealous🍽

Hufflepuffs are...(part 2)

In the common room, there is a corner just filled with pillows for anyone who needs comfort. They just sit on the pillows and a passing Hufflepuff will sit with them and chat until they feel better or fall asleep.

Hufflepuff’s are hoarders, like, they’ll see something and think of a way they can use it, then just take it home. Or it’s just too cute! Also, getting rid of things is hard too. They just instantly make a bond with that object. It’s rough.

Garden

Like all common rooms in Hogwarts, Hufflepuff has its fair share of secret (and not so secret) passages and rooms. One of the most well-known ones is a trapdoor beneath a specific rug. There's a staircase leading to a secret sub-basement garden, with lights enchanted to emulate sunlight and an automatic rain simulator. It's full of colourful flowers and trees, both magic and Muggle. Legend has it that the room was created by Helga Hufflepuff herself.

Headcanon that Hufflepuff have a cat who’s like everyone’s, who just hang around in the Hufflepuff common room. No one knows where it is from, but now it’s here and it’s a quite nice cat. It sleeps on different students every night, makes them play with it when they have studied for to long and lies in their laps and purrs when they need support and warmth from a kind animal who’ll never judge you.
