Aftermath II Maggie + Ramona
Maggie ran up the moving stairs, trying not to shake the box in her hands too much. She had heard about what had happened on the muggle studies camping trip and she was still shaking from the news. Imagining being stuck in the woods with no idea what to do as werewolves were tormenting her made her skin crawl. Her parents had never taken her and her siblings camping, which she was grateful for now. The vials of wolfsbane potion seemed to burn through the fabric of the bag thrown over her shoulder, not knowing what to think or feel.
She had always sympathized with werewolves, knowing it wasnât their fault that their lives had come crashing down, and she knew a few werewolves didnât represent the entire species, but still she felt kind of betrayed. Maybe she should have done something with the vials sooner instead of hording them under her bed? Maybe then it wouldnât have happened? Maggie knew what happened hadnât been her fault, but maybe through the butterfly effect the one deed could have spared her friendsâ pain and suffering.
As she saw someone walking out of the hospital wing at the end of the hall, she ran up to the person and asked, eyes wide with worry, âIs everyone alright?â
